Fun game!
And I was really surprised when the lights went out O_o
Cool game! There was so much to do and explore! I kept on playing again just to try out more things! The twist was executed really well. Good job!
omg, love this. so much to explore and do in a small room. Well put together, loved all the different interactable elements. Laughed how I managed to "win" the game. really nice put together experience.
This game was really cool! I really liked the one room, but with lots to explore and do- that was awesome! I got really freaked out when the theme drastically shifted - I wasn't ready for a scary game! This was an awesome game and an awesome experience!
A couple notes:
1) I couldn't grab the plushie in the closet
2) I could draw on an invisible surface under the desk / sometimes the drawings overlapped in strange ways
3) I could rarely drive the red car off the shelf- it got stuck a lot
4) Spoiler warning! (There was not monster, so it was confusing getting a game over)
5) I could drive out the window and fall for a long time, than got teleported back up to room which felt strange
Otherwise, great game, and great job on this!
Really fun game, I enjoyed the kids perspective. Felt like a kid again
Thanks for playing my game ! That was my goal with or without the scary part XD
Really fun and unexpected. I found all the plushies and played with the toy gun and drove the little cars. Started drawing on the walls and the lights went dim so I thought I got in trouble for that. Saw the two hiding places no problem and hid there, but wanted to see who shows up at the door.
Strangely enough I was able to open the window and fall out of it with the 3 plushies and it still counted as a win, not sure if that is intentional because that would be pretty dark.
Really cool game! Very creative and fun! 10/10
Thanks for taking the time to test my game! I wasn’t sure if I should give a form to the 'angry dad', but I’ll try it’s a good way to learn more about animations in Unity. After thinking about driving the cars through the window, I realized nothing was stopping the player from jumping too, so I figured why not add a hidden end-game screen there? But yes, it’s dark. Congrats on finding it
Cool game and concept, thanks for adding it as an extra ending rather than keeping it as a bug or a glitch. Nice models and plushies.
I thoroughly enjoyed A Kid’s Life! The transition from playful childhood antics to a suspenseful atmosphere was executed brilliantly. The variety of mechanics kept the gameplay engaging, and the unexpected horror twist added depth. I did encounter a few camera issues, especially when controlling the toy cars, but overall, it's an impressive piece. Looking forward to seeing how this evolves with further development!
I am super surprised with how many mechanics you have in this game. A lot of different things you can do. I will say I'm not 100% sure what you're supposed to do when the monster comes. My first playthrough I just left the room and I won. I tried to hide but I don't know if it did anything. Second time I just jumped on the bed and lost. A little confusing like I think it would've been really cool to have a visual representation of the monster or a hidden bar or something to let us know if we're in a good spot or something. Really cool game though. really impressive you basically built like 3 different systems and put them in the game. Unless there's something I missed but even still really cool!
Thanks for the feedback! I'll add a hidden indicator. I love coding systems but have a hard time turning them into a story and a real game.
Loved this game! It's like Life is Strange meets The Stanley Parable - but with a scary twist! I really hope you'll continue developing it. Just adding more rooms and interactions would be amazing!
Thank you ! I need to learn some Blender to really make it like I want to. Hopefully the free course can help for that we will see.
nice game i like the fact it starts innocent and quickly gets creepy, some of the controls for the cars could be improved one didn't move much part the starting point and hard to tell whats going on with the camera ending up behind the wall. A great start you should continue the game :)
Thanks for playing I really appreciate your feedback. I'm still struggling with cinemachine too many components and configurations for me
Super creepy well done!
Thanks you I really liked your game too
Love it, one moment i'm shooting nerfs then, HIDE!
Thanks for trying it out!
I wish I could download it, really like the concept of this one
Thanks, I can try to add a windows and linux build
Are you trying to give me nightmares? Jokes aside, well done on completing your game! I really like the visuals of your game. They are very in line with the tiny world theme. Also, the sound is really well done, especially the contrast between the two halves of the game. Oh and "that part" really got me!
After testing it a hundred times, it kind of loses its jump-scare effect for me. I thought about adding warning shots at some point, that probably wouldn’t hurt.
Personally, I think that the banner for the game and description indicates that there are going to be horror elements so I dont feel like the warning is totally necessary. But i'm sure some people would appreciate the notice.
surprising but fire
Thanks your game is sick
Surprisingly creepy! Nice aesthetics and variety of mechanics to the game
Thanks for playing
I'm sorry I got scared and couldn't finish it. But I think it's a well executed idea I think ! I got stuck with the nerf gun in my hand at some point !
Sorry for scaring you. I planed to add a zoom on the gun at some point and mess up the bindings. Thanks for trying it out!
Great concept and initial mechanics! I didn't get much of a story but I know it's there, excited to see more
Thanks! The story’s in the works, but I need to learn some Blender skills.
