Really wanted sound effects for fire ball or slash without them there 0 inpact , overall not bad idea of the game <3
Really Liked the level Design and the combat system also the story board and the title screen look really great!
I finished the dungeon! I liked how it was designed with different areas that you had to unlock by killing bosses.
I had a few problems fighting the praying mantises, especially the big one. His hitbox is on his head instead of his feet.
It would be nice to have some sound effects, like a Zelda-like tune when new areas are unlocked.
Good work, everyone! Keep going!
Short, but pretty fun. The graphics are great! It could use some sound FX. The music is good, but could be louder. (At first I didn't realize there was music, I had to turn up my speakers.)
This was a fun little RPG.
It has lots of potential, and after some polishing, I believe it can be even better.
Well done. You have a great start for a rogue like game. Keep it up.
By the way, your tile set is awesome
This game is Amazing! There are refinement potential but overall a very fun game!!
Very cool submission! I love these top down style games. There's definitely potential to expand on this! Well done 😃
Great game, perfect for a jam - I actually made it until the end (unusual for me). So that shows something that pulled me in and wanted me to complete it. Nice entry
Cool game! Managed to get to the end! I liked music and visuals, would be nice to add sound for player and mobs actions. Also sword doesn't feel as useful as fireball. Nice job!
This was a fun little RPG. Fire mage FTW :P !! Good job! I did have a weird encounter with the first mantis boss, I thought it was just a statue until I couldnt progress - went back and killed it without any real fight which felt unintentional.... Otherwise I was a good experience for me ^.^
Nice stuff! A good length for a Jam game too, I made it to the credits :D Some hit feedback on the enemies might be nice, I couldn't tell if I was hitting them sometimes. The first boss actually had his head stuck in a wall, so I was swinging at him for a very long time before I realized I wasn't doing any damage.
Fun game, I loved the music. I mainly used the fire spell. The aggro range for the mantic should be bigger and maybe make them immune to the fire spell.
Good game. I'll echo some of the other players and say that there wasn't much use for the sword, and the lack of hit feedback made it difficult sometimes to tell when I was hitting the enemy or being hit myself. It's a good submission though. Well done!
A fun little game, the sword needs some more use though. Maybe make some enemies immune to the fireball
Nice game!
I fell like there is no point in using the sword. It's less dangerous to get the enemies down with the fireball from far.
Also fire balls go through pillar, which is extremely OP :)
Very solid submission anyway!
Wow, congratulations! You guys put together a pretty cool complete experience - hard to believe this is just 10 days worth of work, great job!
GJ! The artwork is cute, whimsical, and pleasing to look at. The animations could probably use a bit of tweaks e.g. the praying mantis' side attack looks like it is striking upwards, but the downwards and upwards sprites make it look like it is striking down. Some other nice things to add would be hit VFX and color overlays or color grading to set the mood. Keep it up.
Good to see what you guys accomplished in such a little timespam! I think I have bugged the mantis bosses, though. They were transpassing the walls of the level and getting stuck outside. Besides, I just missed an audio cue to know when i hit an enemy.
With some additional polish, it will be an even nicer experience!
Ranged attacks seem unable to hit the enemies from the sides. Fun idea for sure!
