Thanks for checking it out! I appreciate that, and yeah I agree. If the game got longer I imagine he'd have to find a remote control to save our sanity hahaha

Thanks a lot! I appreciate you checking it out. I do hope to be able to add a bit more to it soon

I appreciate the honest feedback! I wish I had more time to put into this one for sure. I'll check yours out as soon as I get a moment 👍

Thank you very much, I appreciate that! Yes, I'll be adding to it soon hopefully. I've already gotten a bit more done since but a few more minutes of gameplay would be nice 😃

Thank you very much! I know it's like I got all the stuff in place and didn't have the time to just get more creative stuff in. I'll be adding to it soon though 👍

Hey thanks for checking it out! I totally agree, since I've posted this build I've upped the movement speed. I'm trying my best to add a little bit more to it for some sense of completion but not sure how long it'll take me 😬

Thanks so much for checking it out! I hope I find the time too! haha

Awesome submission here! It took me a minute to get the aiming down but once I had it, it was super fun! With some more sfx and polish this could be a really fun small release!!

Thank you so much! I'll be adding a bit more to it soon for sure. Yes I'll try yours out as soon as I can!

Thank you very much! I do plan to add more to it, it'll still "jam-sized" as I have a primary game I'm just getting going but I'll definitely get an update in here soon.

That's an amazing idea!

I had a really hard time seeing in most placed but maybe it's my monitor.

I really enjoyed the looking around feel in this, the way it kind of sways. Feels really nice and almost gives it a dreamy feel. Nice submission, I'm glad I tried it out! Well done!

I love the spookiness factor here! Initially it was way too dark for me to see anything, probably by design. The look sensitivity seemed pretty high for me as well but it might just be the browser version I'm not sure. It was definitely creepy walking around looking for batteries!

Awesome submission! Really great spooky atmosphere built in here! The mirror scare was well crafted too. Nice work!

Wow, super cool submission here. I love the Game Boy audio and visual representation, super clean! I also love the fact that I was able to possess a cat and scare a kid in a video game. Love it! Well done!

A rail shooter?! Awesome idea! I've honestly never even thought to attempt one of these. Well done!

I did have a bit of trouble destroying targets from a distance, up close it was all good. Was this a design choice? Or just my browser possibly? Either way, super fun submission here, thanks!

Awesome submission! I genuinely had fun snatching up those candies. The choice of "tricking" or "treating" is a really cool addition too. Well done!

Remarkable you've made this with TypeScript! I teach people Web Development and have never even attempted game dev with it, except for one time dabbling with Phaser and JS. What framework did you use?

Anyways, I love the tv view and the screams were so hilarious I was laughing out loud haha, love it. Nice job!

Thank you so much! I'm definitely going to work on it a bit more for after the jam timeframe. Won't be anything huge of course as I have a primary game I'm putting most of my time into but I hate having an unfinished project out in the world haha.

Thank you very much! I used a bone rigging setup in Unity. So I just drew each limb, imported them and kinda created an invisible skeleton I could manipulate in the animation window. Kinda like "at this frame, be in this position" and it automatically moves the limbs over that period of time.

Thanks for checking it out! Yes I definitely learned a lot, as always. I'm going to continue working on it a bit too for when the jam is over 😃

This is awesome! I love the visual here. The slight curve of an old TV front is really cool and the black / white color palette really makes this stand out to me. The concept of purchasing checkpoints is a cool idea as well. Great submission!

Yeah I got stuck around the same point as the person commenting below. Really cool submission though. Man, when you close that window things sure take a turn!

Glad I came across this one, great work!

Wow, the art style here is crazy good! Really cool idea to use those historical images like that. It gives off a creepy yet Monty Python vibe to me. Great submission!

Very polished submission here! It's pretty fun, the visuals and audio are great. Nicely done!!

Jeeeez!! 5/5 👏👏

This is truly awesome and really impressive it was created for a jam. I love all the cool mechanics you added here. Well done team!

Thanks for checking it out! Same here, I'm working on it again to add to it after the jam is over 😃

Thanks so much for checking it out! I appreciate that!

Yes, after the kind feedback I've gotten for everyone I've decided to put some more work into this. Working on it now actually.

Whoa! Super cool submission, I'm so glad I came across it!

I LOVE the shining style carpet. I like the limited light around the player mixed with the speed of the player's movement, really gets you expecting something to come out at you. Finding the keypad clues in the TVs was a great idea too.

All around awesome game here!

Nice submission! I love the art here and the jumping is quite smooth. I did get stuck on my first run going on the very top underground path to the right and the zombie chased me in and I couldn't jump over him.

The only other feedback I have is if the player's lives and score need to follow the player, maybe move them out a little further. They can potentially get in the way if going up and to the right.

Awesome work!

WOW! This is insane for a jam entry! Very cool submission, I'm so glad I came across it!

As others mentioned, some SFX would really be the icing on the cake here. I spent a decent amount of time on this one, bravo!

I wasn't quite sure about I believe the Trick-or-Treat mechanic. When standing in the square outside of a house and the text would appear over head. It's been a long day though, I'm sure that I likely missed something simple here 🤣 This is definitely on my list of games to revisit though!

Thank you very much! That really means a lot to me, honestly. I'll definitely have to put some more time into this project asap!

Holy cow this is impressive for a jam entry. Super interesting story, fun and creepy exploration and really beautiful art. I'll definitely be returning to this to get further into it!

Umm... WHAT?! 🤯

This is so incredibly rad it's ridiculous! Even the controller responding to your input looks so dang clean. I'm also a total sucker for old school 2D games like I grew up with so this is an instant win for me. Well done!!

Wow... this is incredible! Very challenging, very fun and very unique idea! I'm shocked this is a jam submission! Great work!

It blows my mind this is a jam entry. Very well done 👏👏

As others mentioned, restart didn't work for me playing in-browser. Super fun, funny, beautiful and exciting game, nice work!

I was really determined to find that easter egg but I didn't either 😭

Really cool submission though! I don't think I completely understood exactly what to do but it was really fun collecting treats, experiencing your little town and the metal music sequence was a fun surprise

Very interesting submission! The use of your static shader is WILD! My eyes had a hard time focusing and seeing enough to make it as enjoyable as it could be for others most likely (my eyes are stupid). Very cool idea and impressive you did this for a jam! Nice work!

Thank you so much for checking it out! I know I'm really bummed I couldn't get more done 😭😭
