Thank you for the game!  Nice job on the art.

I am very big into card games (as a user because have no idea to create them :-) hahahaha). I like the mechanics and the art! Keep it up

Interesting card game.  However while i'm sure the rules were simple  i kept getting confused probably because why you had an icon to show us the element but the element for each titan was written instead of having their same symbol on them.  So bit confused by that but you definitely have something going on here.

Developer

Yep, I had it written because of the algorithm. I even considered not being explicit about the wheel of resistances and leaving it as something only observable (since it’s on the back of the cards).
Thanks for playing!

Cool card game! It has a lot of potential. I really like the visuals and how fast the turns are. Great work!

Congrats on the game jam. Glad I could help with the Next button. Keep working on the game, not sure there is much feedback other than what others have already said :)

Cool card game. It has lots of potential, so you should keep on polishing it !

Excellent work! the card selection mechanic felt great! I loved the graphics on the cards.

Good entry! Some feedback i'd like to give:
1. Sometimes it's hard to choose a specific card (for me that was 2nd card the game kept trying to give me 1 or 3)
2. You should probably make the game window smaller cause i didn't even notice full screen button at first
3. Sometimes next turn button works, sometimes it doesn't
4. The fact that the enemies play by their own rules (i.e. they just fill the entire board not caring about mana) takes away from the fun in my opinion
5. And it is very hard but probablu that ties into the previous point
Otherwise good job!

Developer(+1)

Yes, I had problems with the buttons. I don't know why  because I used the same as in the Select Battle Screen. I need to tweak window size too. And yes, sometimes is hard to select a specific card, i will have to look after that.
Making enemy to play with its rules was intentional, they fill the board every 3 turns,  but it was a big mistake not to add that countdown somewhere.

Thanks for playing and feedback!

The space to press the next turn button is so small, I reloaded a few times thinking it was broken. looking at the comments, it seemed people were able to play, turned out, it was a sliver of the bottom of the button that I could press, but not all of it. Something to keep in mind.

I love card games, so I was excited to play this! I am not sure what the different elements did, but I liked the variation in cards! Something I would want to be different is being able to see the power of each guy without having to hover over them, since when I did hover over them, sometimes the card would get in the way of looking at the next card.

Otherwise, solid game! Good job turning one in for the jam!

Developer

Thanks, definitely the problem with the Next Button is a thing. Yeah, i should have design stats positions better.
Cards are Scriptable objects made of 2 scriptable objects: 1 for the background with gives the health, and one for the titan which gives the strength. Then they are randomly created at the start of the game, and it calculates its manacost depending on strength, health and relationship with the card background.
I guess there might be betters way to do it, but thats the one I could imagine. My original idea was trying to move the Titans across the card backgrounds to left or right,  but that was too ambitious.
Thanks for playing!

Sounds like some great ideas! I am not sure if that is the best way, but it certainly works! This was a really cool card game and I would love to see more!

pretty fun! hard is pretty hard lol

Developer(+1)

Yes... maybe too much hard. I have never win with more than 7 HP and i have played a lot !

Thanks for playing

solid card battler... just not so tiny ;)

Developer

Yes... I wanted to make two tiny wolds inhabited by only 6 titans, but... scope issues.
Anyway, I think my original idea would only fit on a Small World, but not tiny at all :P
Thanks for playing!

I think this game is good. There only two things I can mention. If everyone is a giant there is nothing tiny to compare it with. Second I had a problem with the resolution of the game, it was huge and I had to zoom out. The full-screen does not work for me, I only see a portion of the game. I know dealing with last minutes optimization is terrible.

Developer

Thanks, the Tiny was because the world but... I do lack those skills yet to represent my idea.
About the resolution, how does the next turn button work for you? Can you click on it?

I made a small video of my end. I can click on everything but everything is big

Developer

Wrong video, I think...

Submitted

OMG true.... -_-" my apologies. I updated the link

Developer

No importa, ¡gracias por tomarte la molestia! Parece que algo hice con el botón que con el 50% de resolución se controla mejor. Quizás es porque mi pantalla es 32:9.

Well done on making a card game thats something I really want to do one day, art was great.

Great TCG, I love that you have to "damage control" at first, and then move onto attack with more Mana points!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I wanted to make something that didnt feel like yacb (yet another card battle game), wasn't able to code my first approach because creepscope happens and had to improvise.

Submitted

Love the art, cards look amazing. Had real problems click on the next turn button?

Developer

Yes, I don't know why the collider is weird. You should be able to click it on right bottom corner.

Submitted

tall order, but you did manage to make it a TCG that you can actually play. I actually enjoyed the asymmetry of it, like how the enemies are all there and you have to choose how to stop them. I can't be sure if I missed any mechanics, but I would say at least one more key mechanic would be needed to have the player make meaningful choices (like stacking your cards, or discarding them for bonuses). I would guess the most art was AI generated, but at least you were able to make it look consistent. good job all together.

Developer

Thanks! My idea was to make the Titans wander from a bioma to another and decide at the end of the turn if you wanted to go clockwise or counterclockwise (that would be the Tiny World "thing"...), ... But of course that was an overscoped issue for my skills.  I will try to make it in a future.

The art is great!  Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to actually take a turn after placing a card down.  Tried on Medium and Easy, but both times the next turn button didn't seem to do anything, and I didn't have enough mana to play another card.

Developer

Sorry, i had lot of problems with that button. I don't know why the collider isnt working properly, i have to go bottom right corner to push it.
