How does the game fit the theme?
The game follows a lonely astronaut seemingly stranded out in space. After the ship breaks down, he decides to reboot the mainframe thinking that nothing could go wrong. That is until he encounters the ship's malfunctioning A.I. that is seemingly set out to kill him. In a complete turn of events it seems that everything is going wrong and it's now a race against the clock...
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Our sound effects (not music) were found online through various free websites. Except the cat, that was all us :)

Very polished and fun game, nicely done!
Really polished. Good job!
This is actually very good and polished. I originally thought the game was meh, but the longer you play, especially once you get the hatch opened, the game starts to truly shine. The minigames where perfect with this kind of games in my opinion, its simple enough to beat alone, but combining with the time and pressure (and that everlooming music too) it serves it's purpose to be a neunounce and that is very well done. I never would have thought this game provides upgrades too, with some of them useless and some quite essential (i.e all movement upgrades and auto-opening doors are basically essential, the compass is just a waste of upgrade but tempting for newer players). Love this so much! It has an ending too believe it or not.
Now for some criticism, I'd say the game really needs a pause button. It's around half an hour a sitting, and sometimes irl stuff does need me to attend to, so pausing would be a very good addition. I would also say that some minigames need a bit more love. For example, the bed minigame sometimes doesn't recognise pressing and is quite annoying to deal with. The fire minigame somethings doesn't recognise I am spraying on a fire and it refuses to be put out, the containment breach is just a glorified loading bar etc etc.
But with that said, this game is undoubtedly brilliant and polished, and I like this very much. Well done to you all!
P.S. I just played normal difficulty sorry!
Wow, thank you very much for playing the game all the way through and for leaving so much feedback!
First, we're glad that you enjoyed it and made it to the end! As for the upgrades, we didn't have much time near the end to balance and create all the upgrades we wanted so that could explain the lack of variety and some being more useful than the others. For the pause button, technically the Escape button pauses but if you play in the web version, you would have to press it twice since the first press would exit fullscreen so that is definitely something we will think about for next time!
For the minigames, I know what you are referencing for the bed minigame and I believe it's because when you click and move your mouse before letting go, it sometimes doesn't register it properly, again something that we unfortunately didn't have time to fix. As for the containment breach, it was originally supposed to be a line-tracing minigame where you seal a crack in the containment chamber but that didn't work well in playtests and with not much time left, we still wanted some interaction with the chamber and room so we added a super basic task.
Thank you again very much for all of your feedback, suggestions, and for playing the game until the end! We will make sure to improve upon the game wherever we can :)
the game has a cat, so its instantly better. Its probably been said already but definitely among us vibes with the tasks and all. The tasks coming in really felt like constant pressure, so that's always good, and places a nice learning curve for the player. I only really felt like the 'danger' music when tasks were happening was really repetitive, but that's about it. Good job!
This game feels very polished. The animations, sfx and all around presentation make me feel like this is a game almost ready for release. Great job to the team. i really enjoyed playing it, and liked the overall premise of what you have to do. It was intuitive and easy to understand. Look forward to seeing more.
Fun game but it could have a little bit more breathing room! other than that the game is great!
Cool concept! The game follows the theme of the jam superbly well. The visuals and the gameplay was really fun. I enjoyed it.
That's why I'm more polite than ever with my AI assistant, he promised that if the machines rebelled, I'd be spared.
Nice game and concept! Gave me Among Us vibes. I liked the ship's design, the aesthetic, and the music. However, I was finding it difficult to perform tasks in bigger areas like the reactor at 5. I couldn't interact with the objects at all over there.
Very fun, very tense. I like the minigames a lot. One thing is that I had some troubles finding certain tasks (or I might just be bad at the game). Overall, Great game!
cool space game
Damn, you all really came up with a lot during these 7 days, congrats!
The base sound level is a bit low relative to other games, but that's very minor.
Only real thing that I'd try to improve is maybe make to more clear where you should stand, and where you can stand on, especially for the generator, it took me some time in my first run to figure out that you had to stand on top by jumping on the black horizontal lines
Nice art and sounds, It put really some fire under my butt to do stuff! Though sometimes I could not get what I really had to do as the ship was too big to get around.
Well done, with some minor polishing it would be even better!
really nice Idea and mechanics!!! well done!
Quite chaotic and I like the premise. The tasks are simple and varied. However, for some tasks, I couldn't figure out where to stand to interact with them (ex: the reactor). Otherwise, nice visuals and audio, it's a nice jam game.
PS: Something to fix later could be the game over UI, which doesn't scale to the browser's window and is partly hidden
Thanks for trying it out! And thanks for pointing out the UI, we only noticed that it only works when in fullscreen on the browser. As for the task locations, we tried to visualize it on the minimap and give little pointers like the no stepping sign but it seems to be a pretty common suggestion so we will definitely improve on that!
I really suck. This AI is the best. I think I got the hang of it.
It’s an addictive game, that I really want to be good in. Great learning progression. You did very well on it :D It’s basically what I wanted to make but in a different style. Many mini-games and you have to clear them in quick succession. Much better/more content than mine. Perhaps that’s also due to the team size, but even then.
One thing I’d like to know: I got to the second stage, found and bought some upgrades, and unlocked a new task ‘containment breach’. However, the doors that lead to it were locked, did I miss anything?
Thanks for playing and I'm glad that you enjoyed it!
As for the containment breach task, when you complete the first stage, you unlock the vents (the long purple hallway with all the boxes). All the boxes clear up which allow you travel to containment breach as well as give you a shortcut from the dispenser leaking task to the oxygen task.
Ah like that, okay. I’ll definitely give this another try in the short future then! Just take that as a bit of feedback then: make it in some way a little clearer that this is the case, because now I thought that the text saying that the vents were cleared meant that the life support “vent-game” wouldn’t trigger anymore.
… Or it’s a skill-issue, your call :P
Nice game! Feels like Barotrauma/Among Us. Would be nice if background moved a little bit, just to give the feel of drifting in space.
Thanks for playing our game! Originally we wanted to do a parallax background with stars, planets, and more in the background and even add windows in the ship but unfortunately, we didn't have enough time.
Very addictive and chaotic game with great art and animations, and a super fun variety of minigames.
I found it very hard to know where to go for lots of the minigames which resulted in a lot of failures early on (which felt a bit unfair and punishing). Could be cool to include quest markers/arrows (at least for the first time for each). Once I got the mental map it was fun to run around and do the minigames.
Great work!
Thank you for playing! There is actually a feature for quest markers that you can acquire as an upgrade after passing through the first level but before you acquire that, you can use the minimap with 'Tab' to locate the broken tasks. But thank you for your feedback!
Really cool! My only critique is that I had no idea where to go based on the stuff happening, like i didnt know where to go when it said "shields down". besides that, great game!
Thanks for the feedback! We tried to show the broken tasks on your minimap that you could open with 'Tab' as well as how much time was left and its locations to help guide you!
I'll be completely honest, I just opened the game back up and... there's a tutorial. I didn't see that haha! After having everything explained in the tutorial i had a much better experience. My bad, I didn't notice the minimap. Even more impressive entry!
This was such a fun and chaotic experience it felt Among Us but single player, which was a really cool twist!
The art and music were super cute and fit the game’s vibe perfectly. I also loved that there were things to interact with around the map—it made the world feel alive. The different difficulty options were a great touch, and the way new tasks kept popping up added just the right amount of chaos.
The gameplay? Straight up addicting. Awesome work! 10/10 entry
