Nice idea, good writing, splendid visuals. I was very impressed by the polished appearance of it. I'll admit to getting annoyed with his "huh" noise when navigating around the broken glass, because I was hearing it so often. I also had MANY copies of most of the inventory items, was got rather confusing!

Check out our submission Skytanic if you get a chance!

I thought the visuals were very cool (and impressive, to be made with no tileset) and there was so much character put into everything. The first room made it seem like it was gonna be a standard point-and-click adventure game, so the monster room confused me at first. Making the second glass crunch trigger the monster was a good decision, but it took a few tries to realize what was going on. Maybe add an audio queue on the first crunch, like the monster growling  so the player associates the monster with the glass. After that, the greenroom puzzle was a little hard to get but not frustrating! I think the only thing it needed was sound queues. In the last room, I only noticed the paper in the corner AFTER trial-and-erroring the sequence. It could have been a me issue tho, i am pretty blind.

Overall this was a neat premise and a good execution. I had fun with this one!

I enjoyed this! The visuals look great and I really like the simple controls. Good job!

Glad you enjoyed it :)

We almost had the same idea :D

Nice point & click puzzle game! The lighthearted Bob was a nice contrast to the terror of the ship, and the visuals and audio did a great job of setting the scene. Most of the puzzles were straightforward, however I got stuck in the second-to-last room and only solved it with random wandering and luck. Aside from that, this was a great game!

Developer

Thanks for trying it out! Glad you liked it! :)

Wow that was a very fun and unique puzzle solving game! It took me a little bit to figure out the movement with the lights, but once I got the hang of it, it was fun to strategically move around the levels without dying or alerting the monster!

Thank you very much for your feedback!! :)

It took me a while to get used to the movement, but otherwise great atmosphere and art style

I think the levels feel great - the art is beautiful, the audio is effective and not distracting, and the animation certainly brings Bob to life. I think the intro story is also the perfect length and sets the scene well.

I suppose feedback on puzzle games is tricky, because if the players don't solve the puzzles, they may mistakenly blame it on aspects of the game - but at the same time, the inner logic of the game should be clear enough to the player in order for them to feel like they have agency. I couldn't figure out how to pick up the crowbar - I must have clicked on it dozens of times, both while far from it, and right next to it. Eventually it did just show up in my inventory, but I didn't notice that I'd done anything differently. In the third room, I tried clicking on the monster (the crowbar said it was "good for hitting people on the head"), to no avail. Maybe I was supposed to shock the monster with the electrical sparks?

Anyhoo, I'm done rambling. I did enjoy my three playthroughs, but ultimately frustration won out.

The movement was pretty tricky to figure out... just have to click on items, but it was also hard to know what to click on or do. The game did have an outstanding feel and juice to it. The art style and audio really worked well together!

Developer

Thanks a lot for your feedback, yes you are right the movement is quite tricky...

Great atmosphere and art. The eerie background sounds add to the experience. The player movement takes some time to figure out but is an interesting challenge. It wouldn't hurt to make interactable objects more visibly distinguishable. Overall a fun and cool game. Great work, especially for a jam!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Yes the movement and objects are a bit tricky, but we just ran out of time to polish it out :)
