Love the game! Fun titles and cool graphics!
Fun idea and I like the headlines, but I had to read the comments to figure out how to play. It seemed my choices were becoming unselected when I clicked on an action, and oftentimes I would select a subject and it would immediately get cleared out because it was right at the end of that 5 second interval. I think it would be better to start the timer when the player first selects a subject or not have a timer at all, and show both buttons as selected until they click "submit".
Overall a good idea though!
Clever game, hilariously written
I love the game's graphics! Super cool, the gameplay works very well, just lacks a bit of feedback when deselecting choices but otherwise great time :)
I really enjoyed the game and loved the art! Although I did have an issue with my subject being unselected occasionally causing wasted time?
Thank you for playing! All the progress resets once the timer runs out, but I failed to make it more intuitive it seems.
Good concept and great art and animation! Would be great if there was some kind of progression of openning new themes
A clever concept with a great art style! Generating clickbait titles was fun, and some results had me genuinely laughing! Great job!
This was a hilarious game. I felt quite pressured in the beginning, but when you get into the flow, this is really straight forward! Fun to watch someone else play too, as you can see the headlines as they are being created. I am impressed with the amount of headlines made.
Fun idea and gameplay!
Yooo loved the idea!!! just wish I could see what I selected but I love the fast pace of the game, and how at the end it becomes a spamming stuff and hoping for the best ahah good job!
Loved the overall visuals of this, with the color-combination and the little sitting-guy animation.
Can it really be true that you created a text-entry for every single combination? :-O
11 * 14 = 154?!
That's must have taking some time to write and set up all of those :D
Well done!
Hey, thanks for playing and for the kind words! And yes we did come up with all the titles. We split them up between three devs who knew English and went at it (in fact all but 28 of them were created in the 12 hours before the jam's deadline so I didn't get any sleep that night).
Haha, wow, that is some serious jam dedication! :D
Good job
Great fun! I wasn't sure what to do at first. I really liked the sound. It's a creative game, I like it. There are lots of possible combinations, which is great in a week's work. Great job!
very cozy game I say
The publish button was a bit hard to nice ... I didnt knew what to do at first
but It is quite fun to see what comes out of every combination ... art and audio is good
solid entry
The best game I've played so far!
The gameplay fits the theme and is quite creative. It's exciting to see what will come out of every combination, especially since some of them seem unrelated at first glance.
I love the results part, where you can see how many views and shares. It could be a core mechanic for a larger game and affect the plot.
I also love the art style and animation, really cute and cozy.
What a unique idea for a game! It's quite impressive how you guys managed to make so many stories combinations in just a week! I really dig the sprite work, they're very polished and professional.
If there's one thing I'd like to criticize, it's the UX of the game, I wish it's a little more clear of the subject you've picked, but other than that, this is a great concept executed really well! Great job!
Nice art and music! Loved to see the news headlines.
Super fun to see what you'll end up getting when selecting both options! Both the gameplay and ambiance are fantastic, great job!
This bings back good memories of "The Contrarian Press", I just wish I had been smart enough to come up with it.
Haven't played the game you mentioned but I'll definitely check it out :) Thanks for the kind words!
Nice aesthetics and funny gameplay ๐
I was maybe short on time ๐
