Very cool IA, loved watching the little dudes fight each other. I just wish there was a bit more strategy involved when making decitions after each round.
The game looks and feels very solid. I would appreciate more clarity and feedback throughout the gameplay - sometimes it was a bit confusing figuring out exactly why something happened. Keep up the great work!
Wow, this is a game that could have real potential, I could see myself paying money for this easily
It kind of gives me balatro vibes in a way
I liked the general vibe, nice visuals and music SFX ! , was not sure about who was getting the bonus sometimes, or why, but anyway it was still fun to play :) make it one army for the player, more upgrades and it' s a new RTS little game :)
Its a great game but if you could add some ui to help us understand what the cards will do, it would be great. And also because of the so many rounds of 20, it feels like repetation and boring. Other than that its great. IF you could mine too, that would be great.
Wowza~! I have never seen a game like this before. Love the whole shared strategist component going on here. The graphics and audio are fairly clean too. Only really have a couple notes of feedback:
1) The game resolution kind of confused me when first opening the game. I thought the unity logo at bottom and also the fact that the game screen didn't take up the full thing meant the web build was broken (see screenshot below). Installed it and learned that the game screen being not full may have been intentional cause the negative space on the right is meant for stats. As a personal pref, I would've just stretched the resolution to be full or put general information in that negative space (i.e., who made it, what jam it was made for, version number, etc.). The balance just feels weird.

2) I honestly can't tell what the cards do until I actually use them. Was a lil' bit frustrating. I do get it may be a "learn as you play" situation, but feel like with strategy/simulation games, you really have to explain every lil' detail of what your decision will do to feel fair. Kind of just selected cards and gambled that my decision was correct. Didn't feel the best.
Again, I really wanna commend the graphics. Know it's super simple but the use of color in this is immaculate and I'm a lil' jealous. Good stuff!

Hey man ... ummm ... u are a sunflower too? ?
Thanks for the feedback... the thing is I ran out of time to work on the UI. The black space is supposed to be kinda like an arcade machine with a couple of op monitors to show information ... I'll update it after the jam ends
and yes I got a lot of feedback, like making each team's upgrades visible ... or showing a little description on them, this is on my update list as well
about Balance ... first off I want to make some other perks to counter what already is broken in the game. second, i will add rarity to cards, so a rare upgrade comes with an other rare in a single card
i will fix this in the next update
Thanks for this huge msg man, it truly means a lot
Thanks for playing :D, I hope that u enjoyed it <3
Wow, really good concept, I just loved it! The style is pretty cool and the audio just moved it to next level of masterpiece!
PS. I would be really glad, if you could rate my game too <3
This one is great. I really love the goal of making things big and chaotic while keeping the sides balanced. The asymmetric upgrade tickets were a cool mechanic, forced you to make interesting decisions.
I found the upgrade selection UI a bit weird. When it opens there's no indication of which ticket is selected and if you press space at that point it seems to just choose a random one. One time I had it get into some kind of buggy state where moving from one ticket to another would cause it to play the tear animation and vanish but it wasn't actually chosen. When I finally did select one, the other two reappeared briefly and then vanished for good.
It felt like it was very easy to get things permanently out of balance by growing the size of one side. Basically the only way to recover from that was to increase the population of the other side. I only managed to get my multiplier above 2 one time.
Oh hey man! Thanks for playing my Game
Thanks for the feedback! Honestly, I have a lot of bug fixing and ideas for the game! but I need to wait until jam ends ofc
and for balancing, I want to make rarity for the cards so smth like duplication comes with something strong like bombs
I suggest u try again sometime later, but thanks for playing my game :D
Visual effects and graphics are perfect. I had a lot of fun. But I think it can benefit from a little balancing. x2 card is way too broken and after taking it a few times, fights takes too long to finish. But it is very great and addictive. Good job!
Oh hey man! Thanks for playing my Game !!!:D Thanks for the feedback! Wow the visuals and the audio are fantastic. Super polished game for a 1 week game. Impressive work! Really fun and addictive too :)
I thought the concept for this game was really interesting and unique, and the visual execution is incredibly well done. I did think that the player was not necessarily engaged enough in the game, especially as the fights get longer towards the end and given you don’t have a huge amount of control over the fights, but this is something that could potentially be refined a bit more. Great job.
Yeah I completely understand the dilemma - to be clear I don’t think you should give direct control over the match to the player, the sort of battle with yourself auto chess style gameplay is an interesting and fun idea, I think that the options you have between the matches just don’t provide enough control to feel like you are really influencing the outcome. It’s a difficult balance to achieve for a game like this. A mechanic I saw in a different entry was instead of picking a perk when you level up, you can remove a previous debuff - it may be worth thinking how similar choices could apply here and expand a player’s options (e.g. maybe instead you can choose to remove a previous buff from one side, or maybe there are also debuff options that show up not only buffs). I’m sure you can come up with some ideas to help this balance, you have a really great starting point!
I love this game! It's incredibly polished. The visuals are great, the cards are easy to understand. I really like the score counter that gets crazier the higher the score is, it gets very chaotic after a while! The audio is also great, it really helps add depth to the game. The game is super addicting, I might come back to it later! Good job!
A really fun game ! Your game's aesthetic is amazing and the concept is really well thought out ! I would only have liked to get some help when one team gets too overpowered compared to the other :)
this visuals :0 i could stare at them for hours , its so satisfying to play :0
This is crazy good, the vibes are insane (I can tell you played Balatro for too long)
I had a bit of trouble fully understanding what I should do/my goal but this is still easily one of the best games I've played during this jam
Congrats!
Really really cool concept, loved the twist on the genre.
The visual are really cool and i love the music and the way it was integrated (specially the way it start back after chosing a card)
Very good job on the polish and the gamefeel, the way the numbers of surviving or score go up is so satisfying to me.
Btw my hightscore was arround ~24.000 but my game crashed wave 19 due to hundreds of soliders exploding at the same time lol.
Your game deserve way more visibility imho.
This is so polished and the concept is so cool, I love it! Wanna see it on Steam someday!
