Thanks!!

Thank you so much!! This jam was so much fun, I hope Juniper hosts another one next year! Congrats on your score as well!!

Thank you!!

Thank you so much!! Hearing that the game is whimsical is a huge compliment!! The movement being floaty is a fair criticism, I made it that way on purpose because it felt more realistic to how the ballerina would move around, but I definitely agree that it doesn't work well from a game perspective. Also the dashing mechanic and other dance moves were actually originally planned!! I had to cut them from the game due to time constraints, though. Thank you so much for the feedback!!

I understand.

Hi, thanks for the feedback!! Great to hear that you enjoyed the game! I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean in your complaint? The game is in fact a bullet hell, and the spinning is a game mechanic tied to it. You have to keep spinning in order to keep your health up (and therefore win) and if you stop spinning, you begin losing your health.

Could you please clarify your criticism? Are you saying the game can't have spinning and be a bullet hell at the same time?

That's awesome to hear!! Thank you for playing!

Thank you!! Great to hear you liked the learning curve! Also super happy you liked the vibes and the music, we had a lot of fun making it!!

I'm sorry to hear the game lagged for you. It seems to be a browser-specific issue, I think a lot of the shaders and other VFX contribute to the lag. The desktop version should work better though!

Thanks for the feedback, I'll definitely look into better web optimization for my future games!!

Glad to hear it!!

Thank you so much!! Glad you enjoyed playing!

Glad to hear you liked it!!

Actually, the video wasn't made for YouTube, it played within the game itself when you started your first run, however it broke when I exported the game and so I had to remove it and host it on YouTube instead lmao.

And also no, I didn't get much sleep xD

Happy to hear you had a good time!! Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you!! Happy to hear you like the art and theme!

Actually, I do know what you mean regarding not being able to hit enemies up close and it's NOT a skill issue! I came across this bug while playing the game myself, and if the enemy is too close to you, your bullets won't register hits. So it's actually a skill issue on my end lmao.

And of course the game is serious, it is theatre after all...

Thanks for playing!

Thank you so much!! It makes me super happy that it's amongst your favourite entries!

Thank you!! Super glad you liked the visuals and my voice! I'm trying to VA in some things when I have the time, and I love doing it for my games!! It makes me very happy to hear that the combat placed this game up in your favourites.

Regarding the browser version lagging, I think that might be a problem with the browser itself and not the game, since it works fine for me.

Also I'm relieved to know that the Mac version works!! I have no way to test it so this is super valuable information for me!

Really glad you had fun! Thanks so much for the feedback!!

Thank you!! Aiming is definitely pretty hard and I totally messed up by not playtesting it. I've seen quite a few people suggest some form of aim assist, and I think that is totally a step in the right direction. If I ever continue working on this, I'll overhaul the combat for sure. Thank you so much for the feedback, this helps me out massively!!

Glad you liked the environment and art!! If you run out of ammo, you can still melee attack enemies by running into them! Sorry to hear you got stuck in some parts of the level. Thanks for the feedback!!

Wonderful game!! The gameplay is simple, but executed so well! It was a lot of fun rolling down the hill and trying out different ramps. The music is absolutely amazing, the sunset track is my favourite for sure! Well done!!

Omg, this game is hilarious!! I did not expect the ending, but it could not have been more perfect lmao. The dialing mechanic was implemented really well!! Genuinely one of my favourites from the jam. A very serious entry indeed, 10/10.

Super fun and polished game!! The throwing mechanic is really fun and well implemented and the upgrades keep the game engaging. My only complaint is that there's no audio. Otherwise super well made game!!

Thank you so much!! So awesome to hear you like the art, I had a lot of fun making it! Thanks for checking out the game!

Yeah, let's just make that the official canon lmao

Thank you!! 100% agree on the balancing being off, it definitely needs a lot of tweaking. Glad you enjoyed playing!

Thanks for checking the game out, Tine!! Super glad to hear you liked it!

This game is amazing!! The visuals are super well made, I especially love the cutscenes and the character portraits! The spinning mechanic and turn-based combat are both very creative and implemented well. I would totally love to see this as a full game!

Some criticisms I have: The health potions seem pointless, as the enemy immediately damages you for the same amount as they heal after you use them. There also didn't seem to be any reason to perform light attacks, since the heavy attacks deal the most damage with no setbacks.

Overall I really enjoyed playing! Great work!!

Oh, this game is so silly, I love it!! I ended up getting 10/11 endings. The writing was great and really funny, the ending pictures always gave me a laugh! The pickup lines especially fried me lmao. Super well made game!!

Omg this game is amazing!! Super funny, I laughed so hard at the bullies' reactions xD The art is super well done, the gameplay is simple but really well executed! Overall an extremely fun and creative game! Definitely one of my favourite games that I've played on this jam. My only criticism would be that it's too short (I'd love to keep playing!) Well done!

Thanks for checking out the game, Luna!! Super glad you liked it!

Thank you so much!! I agree that the UI layout is not the best, I've been struggling quite a bit with making layouts that feel good and don't require the player looking away from the center of their attention. Super happy to hear you enjoyed it and that this game is SERIOUS. Thanks for the feedback!!

Thanks!! We had a lot of fun making the music! Runs restarting slow are a valid criticism. I'll definitely add the option to skip the transitions in if I ever make this into a full game!

Thank you!! This is my most ambitious jam entry yet, I have never put in nearly as much time into a jam game as I did for this one! Super awesome to hear you liked it! And I'm glad to hear it works on Linux, since I had no way to test it!

I can definitely see your point!! It does make me wonder, however, how roguelikes actually present themselves to the player and how they make the player understand the nature of the game. I've realized now that I've never actually played a roguelike, only roguelites, which are very different and the presentation comes from the game pretty much telling you.

I'm honored to hear it has full-game potential! I would honestly totally love to make this into a full game at some point! Currently I'm working on a different full-size game, so I don't have the time, energy or resources to make this into one. But like I said, I would absolutely love to make this into a full experience! Maybe once my current game is released and enough people are interested, I could give it a shot!

Thank you!! It cost me many hours of sleep haha

Thank you so much!! I'm honored that the game has replay value!

Thank you so much!! Super happy you liked it :)

Happy to hear it!! You might be right about the movement speed, I just feel like generally the movement needs a lot more work and polish so that it feels controllable and fair. If I ever make this into a full game, the movement will be my #1 priority for sure! Thanks for the feedback!!

To be fair, it's not exactly obvious from the video. I never explicitly explain how you should be moving around to have good aim, I just introduce the keybinds and that's it.

I'm really happy to hear you liked the play guide!! I had an absolute blast making it! It was supposed to be a part of the game itself, but it sadly broke on the exported versions so I had to remove it.

Super happy to hear you liked it!! You make a good point about the difficulty, I wanted it to reset the whole run, because the game is a roguelike. But given the game's long playtime, I definitely messed up with that decision because a jam game should be short. I'll keep this in mind for my next jam games! Thank you so much for the feedback!!

Glad to hear you enjoyed it!! I had a lot of fun with the art direction of the game, so it's super awesome to hear people like it! The controls being unpredictable is a fair criticism, I'd definitely tweak them to have a better feel if I was to update the game. Thanks so much for the feedback! It helps me out a ton!

Super cool game!! I love the character designs, they're all super well drawn! The gameplay felt satisfying, however I was very confused about what was actually happening. There was no indication of whether either me or the enemy was taking damage and I couldn't ever tell if I beat or failed a stage. Other than that though, I seriously had a blast playing this! It's clear you put a lot of love and work into this game. Seriously well done!!

Omg, thank you so much!! That's so nice of you to say! Thanks for playing!
