Very cool game! The risk mechanic is implemented very well and can be really rewarding. Power-ups keep the gameplay fresh and engaging. My only criticism here would be that the game feels a bit slow. Other than that, I really like it! Well done!

I agree with the slowness. The enemies do get faster over time, but the rate isn’t very high and their starting speed is also quite slow.
I’ll be tinkering with the pacing after the jam.
