Great entry! This is a simple idea executed very well.

I liked the idea but the UI was difficult to parse at times. Both players being able to see each other’s hand is pretty interesting. You have perfect information sort of like chess.

Never underestimate the fun in going really fast. Reminded me of classic Sonic.

Really great game! The upgrades all felt rewarding. The controls felt very smooth. The sound + art gave a nice retro vibe.

🙃

10/10 animations

I liked the big button

Liked the cookie trees in the background. The movement was a bit floaty and hard to control.

Slick game. I had some trouble mastering the combat but enjoyed it.

Fun game! The controls felt very polished and crisp. The song is also a banger.

Loved the fast pace. Great art and sound design as well!

Classic platforming

The game called me a silly goose. I feel called out.

Excellent game! Had a lot of fun. I wish it kept on going. This idea should definitely be explored further. Loved the art and music as well.

Very unique but I got a little motion sickness.

I wasn’t quite sure where to go. I liked messing around in the tutorial level though.

“Think no thoughts beyond this point.”

Finally my time to shine.

It was a little difficult to tell the difference between the top of a platform and the side of it, but I think the style still worked well and it didn’t detract from the gameplay. The moving platforms were a bit slippery. I think I got the bad ending.

The enemies are pretty tanky, even when only picking damage upgrades.

Nice concept and the gameplay felt good!

Pretty creepy. The controls were a little awkward and I couldn’t find any biscuits.

Lots of fun! The upgrades stack up and make you feel powerful in a satisfying way. Love the art as well.

Beautiful art and music!

Thank you! I’m glad you liked it. I agree with the slowness. I’m going to work on the pacing of the game.

I had some ideas for upgrades/abilities but decided to shelve them due to time and just went with the blast-radius, speed, and armor stat boosts instead. I’ll be thinking about the best way to add upgrades.

Thank you for the feedback! I’m glad you liked it. I agree with the slowness. The enemies do get faster over time, but the rate isn’t very high and their starting speed is also quite slow. I’ll be tinkering with the pacing after the jam.

Thank you! The enemies do speed up over time to increase the difficulty. It is a little hard to notice, especially if you are picking up speed-boosts yourself. Likely something I will address after the jam.

It’s hard to see what is a wall or what is breakable. Makes it difficult to navigate. Great lighting though! And I like the fast-paced gameplay.

Excellent game! Managing your resources to decide how difficult/easy to make the level is a great idea.

I like the detection percentage. Seeing it climb so rapidly makes it all feel very urgent and dangerous.

Great interpretation of the theme!

Hearing the victory laugh was my main motivation for completing each level.

There is, apparently, no leaving.

Liked the voice-acting. Some early jumps seemed really tight. I wasn’t able to get far.

Slick controls. Great level design. Lots of fun!

This game is hilarious. 10/10 music choice. Fighting for glory with your last breath is awesome. AND you are rewarded with inspirational words when you don’t score well.

A must-play for sure.

Took a while to load, then froze when I tried to play. I see a lot of debug text as well. Is the right version uploaded?

Thanks! You get exponentially more bonus points for each kill in a chain-reaction. It gets out of control pretty fast. I don’t fully understand it myself.

Well made StS-like game. Great art all around. The tough fights required some interesting decision-making.

Best storytelling in the jam that I’ve seen.

I have no idea what I’m doing. But number go up.
