Loved it! Was creepy and the end was funny. Would suggest making the game brighter because without the flashlight I almost couldnt see and the battery run out very fast.

Also the music is great, but in the epic running away part there's should be an epic chase music as well!

Also, the online version has lags, so maybe dont give that option, I think its too big of a game for that.

Developer

Thanks for all the feedback!

Indeed, the music at the end needs to be revised, I haven't had the time to implement it. Just like the flashlight time which is a bit low, I'm thinking of doing a release to fix a few things at the end of the jam to polish it all up! :)

The html part is there for the jam, the game actually runs much better on .exe yes..

Yes, I'm planning to do it for the sequel to add a little more suspense, but I don't have enough time for the jam.

Thank for the feedback :)

Very good audio design, contributing most to make the successful atmosphere for this twisted "horror" title!

A short but tense and heart pumping experience!

Thanks for the feedback, I hope the little heart is doing well anyway!

The atomsphere was really nice, i would play a full release of this! Nice work.

Developer

Thank you :) ! I think I'll fix some bugs after the jam for a proper "release"

This is why I love indie games. I have played many AAA horror games, but somehow your game made me look back even more then in other industry games. I was a bit scared. Sadly when I tried to go back again to house for the tool, game caught a bug, There was a grey particle and it looked like the camera moved away from the player controller.

Developer

Oh I'm so sorry for the bug that must have ruined the experience... But thanks for the great feedback, I worked a lot on the sounddesign and the psx vibe, so I'm glad you liked it!

I'm usually not a fan  of horror games but the atmosphere was both scary and kind of cozy!

Developer(+1)

As funny as it sounds, I never play horror games either. Thanks for testing!

Really strong atmosphere, and I liked the twist!

Two thoughts: (1) I loved the chase, your great sound design could have been pushed even further here to enhance that even further. (2) When my flashlight ran out I couldn't turn it back on? I assume that might have been a bug, but I had to restart as I couldn't find the bridge first time... haha.

Really enjoyed it though. Nice credit sequence too!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!
I'm so glad you liked the sound design and the generic, they're the two things I'm most proud of in the game!

- I didn't have time to add a bit more rhythm to the end chase, that's what I would have liked to finish properly :)
- Normally when the flashlight battery drops to zero it turns red and is blocked for a few seconds.

Nice level design and art usage! But I didn't get what to do after bomb defusion

Developer

Oh ! You have to leave the house because you're not at the same place. The door open again !

Thank you for your feedbacks :)

I feel like the flashlight runs out a little too fast; But the game is pretty spooky good job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, it's true that it may be a bit old, so its batteries are pretty empty!

Great atmosphere, and great visuals. I was try to enter this room, but can't sadly not open !

Developer

Oh I never had this issue before, maybe retry one time ? I really don't know why this happens

Thx for your feedbacks !

Cool game visually, sad you didn't make assets but still cool

Developer

Unfortunately, between work, code and all that goes with it, we can't do it all by ourselves. Thanks for your feedback! :)

When I saw this, I thought I was cooked but turned out I wasn't, quite the opposite actually
also the first area gave me a lot of misty wood from dark souls 2 vibes

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Normally everything goes well in the game!
