This game development was unfinished for sure. I presume your goal is to attack a government with some tool present in form of card game. I buy your idea. Unfortunately, I won't have a chance to play full version this jam.
This game is clearly unfinished. It's unclear how to win or what you are trying to accomplish. The creators acknowledge this in their comments, that they ran out of time.
Making a card game in time for a game jam is achievable. I recommend making the game with paper first. Coding games is hard. Paper prototypes are easy. Try that next time to get a better sense of what you want this to accomplish.
Nice idea, the game looks like it could have been something, unfortunately it lacks the game itself
cool i won
You've got yourself a cool basis for a card game ! Maybe you could have sacrified some work on the visuals to get more time on the gameplay, but I get jam planning can definitely be tricky sometimes. Anyway congrats on your first Unity experiment !
https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-13/rate/3348291 ima see yours after school so can you see mine?
Could use some sound effects. It's a bit bland, but I get the idea.
Well, we were running out of time, so decided to polish things we've already had. Was also thinking about some ambient music, but it is what it is.
I love to play the vilain ! However i did not understand how to win / to lose ! Good work on your first game, keep going :) !!
Good job for the first game! But I kinda didn't get the goal of the game and just push all the cards in and somehow won - don't know how to lose here
Villain's plan is perfect - nothing can go wrong ;)
Fun kernel of an idea, reversing the narrative of most card games to become a villain is a fun concept which could be taken in either a political or a satirical direction. Looking forward to seeing how the idea develops if you keep working on it!
I like the idea of playing the super villain and attacking infrastructure. With some more polish I think this could be really interesting. As is I was able to win in a single hand or one had + one card from the next hand. It didn't feel like there was any strategy or challenge.
You know what? I loaded up the game, saw a bunch of illegal actions as cards in my hand, and immediately died laughing. 10/10 would overload the power grid again.
easy to understand
I immediately understood what I had to do, which is a good thing! The game isn't finished yet, but that doesn't matter, the important thing is to make something you're proud of, and the game has a very good basis for what's to come! Gg :)
Would you mind rating and leaving a comment on my game? <3
The gameplay loop is addictively satisfying
Good job for your first game with Unity! If you were to improve on this idea, I would suggest adding someway to challenge the player (giving them a limited number of turns, or having some mechanic that raises the bars back up).
Congrats on your first game on Unity! Some instructions or clearer goals would be nice in my opinion. But great concept overall. Good job :)
Very little as far as instruction on what the rules are but interesting concept, would be interested to see it fully fleshed out.
Cool concept, always enjoy games that let you be the bad guy! Would like to see more card synergy.
Once I better understood what I was doing, this played out nicely. Some tutorials or tips would be helpful! Cool concept, would love to see where this goes!
