stinks

haha, I love the thoughts! Definitely will consider all of that in the full release, thanks for playing!

i like the restraint of having to think about where to move to not drain too much time, I almost quit at first because the game didnt tell me i could move around and i just kept staring at the bomb LOL. Definitely some real potential here, great submission!

Why is this actually such an addictave loop. DUDE, this could work as a full release with more content and polish, it's super fun to make your own drill/ship and fly it. great submission, I hope more people find this!

nice little civ builder, could definitely use more content and polish but nice idea

super good incremental game! could definitely see a full release for something like this on steam with some more content and polish, good work!

(1 edit)

I’m planning on making a full release later on with lots more testing on balancing. Thanks for playing!

brilliant game! would love to see more levels and polish too!

You're absolutely right! those changes are something that more time (a luxery i didn't have unfortunately) would've allowed. Thanks for playing!

totally agree with the nitpicks! Just not enough time for me to be picky myself either

Anyone who gets far please feel free to post a screenshot of your best round!

Thank you! Yes I’m planning on adding much more content and a steam build in the near future!

thanks so much!

big inspiration for this ofc!

It says its restricted by the author! I would fix this quick as I dont think you made it public in the settings!!!!

This is really good LOL, I love the artstyle and gameplay! would love to see more development in mechanics and story otherwise this is really cool and well polished for a jam!!

AMAZING! I NEED THIS TO WIN, Its so original and fits the theme perfectly, really well polished and genuinely fun. Great work! only suggestion is some form of progression to keep players coming back, you should absolutely build on this and make a full release!

I like the art style and take on the theme! This could use with some clearer instruction but otherwise its a good submission!

I really like the polish on this! only critisism is that It feels like a cant pull back far enough and its a little janky trying to shoot but I like the idea!

I like this idea! A little too hard for me, sometimes it felt like it was eating my inputs, could use some juice for when you get it right. Otherwise fun idea!

I like the concept! I would've maybe made different sounds have different meanings because right now any sound is "bad" so its kind easy. I would even make the door open when you press open so theres tension between opening it like in fnaf 4. Otherwise cool submission!

Good take on the anomaly genre! I haven't seen a 2d anomaly game yet so thats cool. Sound design is your biggest strength here,  overall solid submission!

Thank you! thats my job :)

This is really cool! I love the sound design and tension between each picture and portal. I was really scared near the end at before the jumpscare! Only suggestion is maybe maybe show a horrifying image before the jumpscare and have the guy come out of the image or something so the player is forced to look directly where the jumpscare is coming from because I was looking the other way and so it came from behind. Otherwise GREAT submission!

Im glad you liked it! it was intensional for it to be difficult to block on the leaves to discourage waiting on the leaves but i feel the same way

i like the idea but it gets a little repetitive after a while!

i like the theme implementation, not quite enough content to keep me playing though.

I like where you're at but not seeing the theme implementation or any unique idea. keep making games!

sometimes you will just fluke it and it feels really unsatisfying, level design could use some work, otherwise cool idea with potential, i like the art

cool idea, I like the music, definitely no challenge as you can just spam all of the letters to win

I’m glad you noticed the background! I was trying to implement a cute little story there for the play to piece together, originally the movement wasn’t grid based but that made it too challenging and less strategic. Thanks for playing!

thanks for playing! I updated it adding more mechanics and fixing the fire!

Just to let everyone know, I will be updating this very shortly fixing a few problems and adding a few new mechanics. I hope you like the changes that come!

I spent like a million years trying to get the game working on itch and upload it to the jam, In the submission page I selected my game (Pick'king) and filled everything out but ive been looking for my game and it isnt showing up. and it's TOO LATE to submit it again, Its opnly an hourn olater, ANY CHANCE AT ALL TO SOMEHOW SUBMIT IT IM DESPERATE, I HAVNT MADE ANY HANGES SINCE YESTWERDAY!!!!!

Cool SFX, I wish there was some background music to support the style of the game though. Cool idea, I like the hand drawn visuals and point and click gameplay!

Remind me to play this when I get home, this looks really cool...

Fun idea! I like how random things will just damage you like a bucket stuck on your head or the door falling on you. The music is nice not sure if they were the free to use assets but they work. The only complaint is some hitboxes like the fridge were a little finicky to interact with and the background felt a little empt, maybe if it was a different color or something or not taking up the majority of the screen. Otherwise really fun idea!

This is really charming, the music fits really well with art style and vibe of the game, fun mechanics. Only complaint is that when I reset, I spwaned over a giant pit and couldn't play, probably just a bug. Anyways really creative and fun game working well with the theme, congrats!

also if you aren't sure how to make it intuitive, bring back that cool voice at the stat to explain stuff or just add an indicator like "e" or a glow around stuff. I have fun with it too!
