Fun!

Ok, so, it took me quite a few tries to understand how the physics wanted me to act; during this time I was deeply frustrated, as I made the motions I'd expect to work, yet the character flew anywhere else.

Once I figured that out, things became much easier and I actually managed to enjoy the game; I reached the top and got my prize. I thought the mountain was much taller but, thankfully, that wasn't the case (the meters marker not starting from 0m didn't help in that regard).

The one thing that bothered me, besides the initial learning curve, was the fact that you could die. I'd argue that games from this genre do not need a death mechanic at all. The punishment, generally speaking, is falling, unless you manage to ready yourself and grab any available edge; death makes failure excessively punishing otherwise. It was also too finicky, and could happen suddenly for no reason.

Any sort of physical gameplay is an arduous task, nonetheless, so congrats!

Not sure if it's the trackpad on my laptop, or what, but I can't get the hang of it.

Looks cool though.

The controls were a bit difficult to get the hang of, but it was satisfying once it clicked and I was able to make it to the top of the mountain.

Another, welcome addition to the Gang Beasts ludomatic universe. Quite janky but not too hard. I was hoping for there to be a “take photo” button, kinda disappointed it was just part of a cutscene.

The physics are very janky but they they don't really feel unnatural either, the bugs were hilarious though

Art style is cute, gameplay idea is cool and I really liked little cutscenes!
But death feels very weird, I feel like I have little to no control over it

Controls feel a little weird and I don't really know how I can die at times, like is it a timer, or just falling a lot, because if it is the latter I fell off practically from the top to the bottom and didn't die, I don't really undestand how the dying works. I love the visuals of this one, it's pretty cute, and I got the reference fellow JJK fan.

But overeall the game is pretty nice and has potential, I could see this game grow after the jam is over and become a game of the likes of Getting Over It or a Difficult Game about Climbing

Nice

Good idea but somehow I cannot manage to use the controls.

Funny take on the theme and it's always impressive seeing a working 3D game in a week-long jam! The cutscenes are a great touch. At first it was way too easy to toss myself off the mountain too far to grab anything, but I buckled down, gave it another shot, used a little more patience, and finally got to the top, and I did feel proud of myself for figuring it out. Really neat stuff!

This was fun. Took a few tries to get the hang of it but I eventually got the selfie. It felt pretty unpredictable when I could and couldn't grab. Sometimes I'd grab the wall even though I was a long way off and sometimes I'd just slide half way down the mountain in full contact without grabbing anything.

I was not able to get up at all… having a tutorial would have been nice as I spent 1 minute trying to understand what I was doing wrong, click and release to jump seems easy, but I did not understand how to do it :O

Besides that it seems promising, I liked the audio and the Sound effects.

how you made that freakin rock tower pillar floating island shit dude. its sick

Funny idea and the visuals and music really fit the vibe of the game!

As someone who enjoys games like "A Difficult Game About Climbing" and "Jusant" this game was a treat with unique mechanics and a fun cut scene at the end. Definitely consider expanding upon it as a party game or with additional levels, ect!

It was a shot but nice experience ! It would've been interesting to have a few other mountains to explore more the mechanic of throwing yourself around :) Doing a physics game in a week is hard, congrats on managing to finish it !

Was struggling at first but when I figured out how to fling myself around I was having a great time. Short and sweet game, left me wanting more of it. The cutscene was a nice touch too.  :)
