Nice game, liked the concpet! Didn't quite fully understand the systems with the recipes in my short playthrough, but very nice vibe overall

How does the game fit the theme?
Things tend to go badly wrong in factories. Angry customers will destroy your buildings if they have to wait too long.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All code and assets created from scratch, except for the Godot Game engine and Maaack's game jam template for Godot.

I liked the idea of a factory game and am very happy to see one in the jam. I also knew how hard it is to make something like this, especially in just a week, so I think this alone deserves some praise. I tried the game a few times but I still don't think I fully get the game. I think given how complex the recipe is right now, it will certainly become an interesting and tense experience. If there were a bit more tutorials on how the game works, then we could truly appreciate what this game has to offer.
Anyway, keep up the good work and sorry for the bad feelings.
I really like factory games. Happy to see one in this jam.
Nice that you have a tutorial on the factory mechanics. It got me to start playing right away. I did not really get the approve/deny mechanic though, I usually used it to remove angry customers haha. It was not really clear what approving or denying actually did.
Found it a bit surprising customers were asking for singularities, as this is an end goal of the game. I did manage to make one :)
Overall a pretty fun game to play. Well done!
To be honest, we wanted the approve / deny mechanic to be much more developed. Like paper's please, or like your game. As it stands, you just have to look for shoplifters and approve or deny as you like. As you discovered, it's a good way to get rid of angry customers. Or you can use it earlier and prevent customers from getting angry. Approve or Deny is just for feels right now. I feel bad when I accidentally approve a shoplifter. But there's no in-game penalty, because "Nothing can go wrong." We're working on an updated version with more extensive "papers please" mechanics on the customer end.
Great game in the style of Factorio! For me, it's a bit complicated; perhaps it would be worth creating a simplified tutorial with easy customer requests to make it easier to get into the game.
Super cool game! I love factorio and have played hundreds of hours of it, so this is right up my alley. I love the automation half of the game, it's really fun to make stuff and especially fun to setup a machine for the more complex recipes. I think the checkout process would be cool to automate somehow too, I kept forgetting that I even needed to check people out so they could leave. I think with some more polishing this game would've been my favorite from the jam, I love anything with conveyor belts lol. Great work and super cool submission!
I really like the idea but I found there was so much going on and I wasn't sure what everything meant. Definitely a good start, keep working on it!
I thought it was innovative to combine elements from two distinct games. I managed to trigger the singularity! Personally, I enjoyed the shift from the expressionless customers to their angry charge towards the factory. Nice work!
It's a very interesting idea, combining production logistics with constant need to check if the customers actually paid for stuff. I couldn't quite figure out how buildings store and use excessive materials, do they get piled up and then used when needed? Or is it first come, first go? Would need to play this more to figure things out.
Took me a while to get into it (didn't realise I needed to click on the factories to swap their production), and I needed to keep consulting the recipe book. But by the time I got the hang of it, I liked the way it worked. It's a nifty little strategy game with the constant need to keep playing because of the customer needs.
Took me a bit to figure out how to change what I was making, and after that it got pretty hectic. I think with a longer tutorial it would help on board users a lot better.
Not quite sure I understood inspecting the customers, but atleast it allowed to get rid of the angry ones :D Great game with decent depth! Good job!
Some of them are shoplifting. If the items in their basket don't match the items on the receipt, then it feels good (hopefully) to deny them. We didn't have time to implement proper (better payoff) outcomes for approve/deny, so it's mostly just aesthetic. But as you pointed out, it does get rid of angry customers, which is nice.
We're planning a new version with much improved "papers please" mechanics on the customer interrogation phase.
Not gonna lie, I’m not sure I totally understood what was going on… But I love the humor and the fact that the customers can destroy your buildings lmao. I reckon with a more in-depth tutorial (despite the joke) it could really be something even for dumbos like me!
Game looked good! Love the concept but unfortunately i'm stuck after the tutorial on a screen "Loading Complete! 100%" :'(. Nothing could go wrong ?! Good job to all of the team
Superb execution! A really polished game with fun mechanism & stylish arts.
Awesome! Concept is great and execution is really well done. Sprite-work is nice and sfx is good as well. Fun game, good work!
Took a while to figure out, but once I did, quite a nice little factory game. Icons were a little hard to see, but a great little game -- well done!
