Not bad, the interactions were a bit slow though and it would've been interesting for you to use more show don't tell elements for the planet's mysteries, as the story was interesting but too much was conveyed over dialogue alone. The concept is cool and I like the creepy elements to it, graphics were decent and the audio design was pretty good. Overall decent experience.

Good work.

Pretty fun! I think there definitely needed to be more levels since the first 2 were pretty easy and simple to do without any clues or even looking at the location name. But the concept is cool and the last level was decently challenging and was definitely the next step in ramping up the difficulty. The art was adorable and made the game look super polished, and overall audio design was good too. Fun and well designed game :D

Very cool concept, the puzzles were decently fun but the only thing is how precise some of the angles and speeds had to be to get it exactly right. I ended up stopping because it was annoying to be off by like .1 of a second and having to adjust it so precisely. Otherwise, fun and challenging, when things went right it was very satisfying to pull off.

Good work!

Pretty good! The progressively changing environment surprised me with a story in the background, from people sneezing to full on zombies, that was a nice detail. Gameplay was pretty good, the balancing of drinks felt fair and not frustrating or rage game like, and music was a nice touch. Visuals were very good, and overall a fun experience.

Good work!

Very neat! I like the art done for the game and the overall concept is cool! I was unfortunately very bad at managing all the controls so I kept doing not so good, but still fun.

Good work!

Fun! Didn't beat but it was easy to understand, controls felt good and the concept was neat :)

Good work!

Great game!! Really fun platforming and trampolining! The platforming controls were smooth and responsive, and the concept was great. Spike inspection was really funny when discovered and I love that literally nothing can go wrong. Visuals are very nice and I especially LOVE the squash and stretch player animations. The music is fantastic too!

Amazing work! Definitely one of the top games.

Fun game! I didn't realize at first that I had a rocket launcher but the game improved significantly when I did, the fly swatter is very annoying to use but it seems very intentionally so as it really matches how it feels to use one in real life LOL. Upgrades are nice and game overall feels fair and balanced. Visuals are good and the music is a great touch to the levels.

Not bad! The overall gameplay is decent but the biggest issue is the camera! You can't see where the enemies are coming from and bullets from them will pop out of nowhere and unfairly get you. Camera needs to be attached to the player more closely. The shooting in-between time probably should be faster and maybe bullets should shoot to the mouse position instead of straight ahead? Still fun but if you fix the camera, the biggest issues clear up right away!

Really really good game! I love the puzzles in each level, the whole concept of the retracing it's steps block is awesome and makes the puzzles very tricky but rewarding when figured out. The isometric view is aesthetically really pleasing and makes the game look very nice (also reminds of me of bloxors) but it can also make the clicking of spots a bit annoying when it's behind objects. Fun overall and challenging.

Great work!

rated and already played, very good game :D

We're glad the keyboard controls worked good for you! Definitely Mario 64 inspiration for sure.

Thank you!! and thanks for playing :D

Haha we're glad it freaked you out a bit!! Sometimes it can catch you off guard...

TYSM!!

Aw sorry!! We wish we could do a mac build but no mac computers here :(

Thanks for taking a look anyways :)

TYSM!! It's always good to hear that people enjoyed the movement in platformers since that's a pretty essential checkbox which I'm glad we ticked for you too! We will for sure will think about an expansion since this was a pretty enjoyable jam experience for us too!

Thanks for playing :)

Haha whaaaat no way, definitely a trustworthy character...

Thank you!! I'm glad to hear the controls were good to you! We're surprised we managed to get that many areas as well, I'm happy you enjoyed them too as we worked hard on them. And I wish sometimes lol.

Thanks for playing!! :D

Thank you! And apologies, someone encountered this bug before you as well and it's definitely very infuriating. You can delete your save file in the menu on the bottom right in order to retry! Will fix post-jam :)

unfortunately the game defaulted to the wrong monitor then promptly crashed :(

will try again later to open, gave a good rating for now since the game looks very good :D

Very nice game, the concept is very interesting with the only moving forward mechanic, but it was also very difficult! I think in terms of feedback, the moving platform section was a bit much for a first introduction to the mechanic, as you had to wait a while if you messed up and you can't jump through the platforms which made it a bit more frustrating. The art was really nice and the whole intro part was super interesting, I really liked it. Overall fun, just a bit too hard for my taste right off the bat.

Good work!

rated! and thanks :D

Very nice game! I really liked the decision making with the energy and how consequential it became. I quickly found myself leaving no energy for wood chopping and then getting left in the dark to go insane all because I didn't quite manage it correctly. The art was very nice and ambience tracks were pretty great, they added to the atmosphere quite well.

Great work!

Really cool! Theme fits really well with the concept here, and the 3d->2d is pretty neat to represent life vs dreams. Graphics are decent and the sound effects and audio design was pretty good, I liked the switch in tone with dramatic droning tracks that are uneasy. Only feedback is I think arrow keys to move and z to jump and x to dash would've been nicer for controls but that's personal preference.

Good work!

(1 edit)

As of writing this, I have 114 games rated in the jam, and would like to increase that number to at least 200! If you post your game below, I'll play, rate and comment my feedback :)

And if you play mine, that would be awesome :D -> https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-13/rate/3349013

(oh and be honest, don't rate if ya haven't played or don't intend to!! we want to know if you really liked the experience, we don't need the ratings themselves! thanks :))

Although small, the concept is really neat! More levels would make this game a really great puzzle experience. The visuals are clean and nice, and the isometric view adds a lot of style to it!

Great work!

Good game! Intuitive and easy to understand. Challenging but not overly so, got about 4797 score before I stopped. Visuals are nice and simple, and overall experience was good.

Very fun, good work!

mmm aple jucie 10/10

good work guys, game made me FEEL like a man drinking apple juice going the wrong way on a highway

Add slots and blackjack it's 10/10. Game was fun, but I kept going into debt unfortunately cause I like clicking the malicious giveaway links too much, and after that you can only click which I wasn't gonna do for -300 dollars LOL. Would be cool to be able to take out a loan or something in order to get cleaning creatures to gain money to get out of the negatives. Visuals are simple but nice and audio is decent. Enjoyed my time with the game.

Good work!

Really lovely game, finding the right placements to solve the level is fun and satisfying, especially when it all goes right. Visuals are nice, concept is well executed and it's a pretty good time.

Great work!

Very fun! Really enjoyed this one, the balancing puzzles were great and it was fun to hit play and watch as either my plan goes completely awry and blocks go everywhere, or watch as a beautiful balance is met and each block is slightly jittering and barely holding it together lolol. There was at least one level in there where my building was definitely falling right before the level won, so I managed to cheese it last second. The graphics are simple and serviceable and the overall game is a nice, but there didn't seem to be music and this game would be perfect with something chill playing in the background.

Overall great experience, really good game and great work!

I won I think? Fun game, I really like how falling doesn't just kill you and restarts the game, it just brings you to another sin which is a really neat concept. Also health going below 0 is neat since we are dead anyways! Graphics are decent and music is nice, platforming can be difficult with the moving platforms moving so quickly but otherwise not bad.

Good work.

Really fun! Mechanics are easy to understand yet engaging and I liked how sometimes there would be false calls, the pizza one was especially funny. At one point there were so many calls that I thought I was screwed but barely made it through and it was very satisfying. Good visuals and audio, and fun gameplay.

Great work!

Nice game! Surprisingly a chill game despite the name and the countdown. The music was a vibe so it was relaxing, and it felt like you had quite a lot of time to complete the tasks so not stressful at all. Visuals were nice and UI was especially good with how each program functioned. I cheesed the rating task by just spamming ratings cause I couldn't be bothered to figure out how to properly read the rating chart instructions.. whoopsies. Overall fun.

Good work!

Awesome! Concept is great and execution is really well done. Sprite-work is nice and sfx is good as well. Fun game, good work!
