Very fun little game! I like the simple concept. The game's difficulty is perfect! It really feels like an arcade game, and the high difficulty really amplifies that vibe. The scores and medals are a nice touch, too! My only criticism is that there isn't a restart button, so if you're trying to go for a perfect run where you don't get hit and you fail, you have to wait until you reach the finish line if you want to retry. Other than that a fun and enjoyable game. Good job!
Thanks for playing! Glad you approve of the difficulty, though it was completely by accident. If I'd had more time, it would probably have been balanced out.
Restart button is pretty easy to implement, not sure why I didn't....
The idea is good, but the movement feels kinda unresponsive. Maybe give the player more freedom and ability to move quickly. Otherwise doging those fast cars can feel impossible, random and frustrating.
Thanks for playing. I had a plan for powerups to improve the truck handling as the player progressed, but I ran out of time to implement. There also wasn't any time to properly balance the traffic either.
Nice game !
Thanks!
Simple fun game. It looks great too, though maybe the cars are a bit too hard to avoid.
Thanks for playing. I ran out of time to do proper balancing or add in powerups to improve the truck's handling.
I like the vibe! I'm driving on the side of the road to avoid these maniacs LOL
Thanks!
Ok the other characters are moving too fast and I didn't find a way to avoid them but a good work for one week project.
Thanks -- I ran out of time for proper balancing, and there also needs to be some way to warn the player of oncoming traffic.
nice game
Thanks!
I really enjoyed the audio and feel of the game. It'd be cool to see an oncoming traffic warning. That said, you did a great job making the game. Thanks for putting in the effort.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I can't claim credit for the music -- I found it on Pixabay, but thought it fit the game quite well.
Loved the game, simple and fun, I think it would be nice to see some indicators of where cars will come from. as they are very fast, it's hard to dodge them honestly. Also left hand traffic felt really weird lol
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!
I did have an idea about a rear-view mirror at the top of the screen, but didn't have time to implement. Not sure about something similar for traffic ahead of the player, but I'll have think.
I live in New Zealand, so left hand traffic was just the default for me. Didn't even consider right hand traffic until late in the jam.
I think flashing arrows would work nice, like in jetpack joyride when the rockets appear
Yes, that could work quite well.
Short and sweet! I liked the music a lot.
Thanks!
Was meant to be longer, but ran out of time.
The music I found on Pixabay, but I thought it fit the game rather well.
Fun little game. I really like the detail with the score and medals, as well as the visuals, I love the retro style !
Thanks!
That was a quick fun game! I really like the artstyle and music behind it.
I would suggest maybe adding an indicator before cars come to give some time to react but other than that, it was very fun!
Thanks! Can't claim credit for the music, I found it on Pixabay but I thought it fit the game rather well.
Did have an idea for some kind of rear-view mirror at the top of the screen to show things behind the player, but like so many things, didn't get a chance to implement it.
I was always being told to take care will driving, especially taking care of what others do and that reflect that perfectly :), Nice visuals, fell polished. Great work.
Very polished!!! Great job!
Thank you!
Great style. Nicely polished foundation. Just needs a little play balancing for responsiveness, depending on whether you want players to be able to dodge incoming cars or not.
Thank you.
There's a lot of things that need balancing. I was planning on having powerups that would improve handling (make the steering more responsive, increase the maximum speed, etc.). I also think the road is too narrow, and the penalty for going offroad needs implementing correctly.
cool aesthetic! I tried to get gold on time, but I couldn't. What is the time requirement for gold?
Thanks!
Gold medal time is 16.0 seconds or less, but the lowest I've seen anyone do it is 16.5 -- definitely needs balancing (along with a lot of other stuff!).
I love how you visualize losing cargo! Definitely can see the fun in this game
Thanks! Ideally, the cargo containers would fall off the back and bounce away, but I didn't have time to set that up.
Neat little game! Loveley art style and audio design, and great concept and theme interpreation. Just needs some more content, and a little tweaking (right now it is incredibly hard to dodge incoming obstacles). Good stuff!
Thanks for playing. There were plans for a lot more content and balancing, but between a full-time job, kids, a litter of 2 week old puppies and life in general, I ran out of time.
Fun game, and can be better if left/right can be turned faster.

The safest path is off the road! Hahahaha
Yes, I did want to add powerups that would improve things like steering, but I ran out of time.
Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for playing!
Love the visuals, they feel pretty unique. It was difficult to avoid the cars haha, great game!
Thanks! Still learning how to do pixel art. The cars still need some tweaks on them. Thank you for playing.
