How does the game fit the theme?
Nothing can go wrong for the animals being tested. An Irony for the scientists.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Other than the button sprites that I made, all assets were free online assets. All audio was free online samples.
All code is mine with help from Godot docs, forums, and chatGPT. The code that the GPT gave me was usually too complicated or didn't actually work, but it pointed me in the right direction.

Nice little game. Good graphics and sound, responsive controls. Well done!
SO MANY BUTTONS!!!
I really enjoyed the art style and the soundtrack. Looking forward to the bark mechanic being added in.
Some of the buttons didn't quite work, and some of the guards' text boxes seemed flipped around at times, but I think it was a great game for one person!
Ok a nice one but I don't understand why the dog cannot move along with the moving platforms but overall a good experience. Congrats.
I played it twice, once I tried not to touch any red buttons,
the second time I touched as much as I could :D
Good work!
I didnt quite see the theme of the game but as an honest reviewer the audio visuals and controls awere super nice, i did not feel like the intro was catchy for me but make a nicer main menu and intro more about the dog and id give this game an average of 4/5.
please check out our game!
A nice little platformer!
The 8-bit Bad Guy in the start got me and I think I pressed every red button there was.
(Two things:
thank you for the feedback!
rarely encountered buttons that I wanted to press as badly as I wanted to press the red ones ^^'.
I think that it'd be a great learning process for you to get these red buttons to do exactly what you want, and don't forget to let us know that you fixed it so we can try!
Audio is really cool and I liked the concept, it was fun to play!

Doggo showed them! That was fun, great job :)
Cool game, nice Gameplay!!!
ver polished and cute plataformer! the graphics all go pretty well together which is very hard to do with free assets
Love the art! That dog is sooooo cute :)
Pretty little platformer, I liked the way you picked up the assets.
Flipping the entire person scene also flips their text :)
yeah, I've gotta figure out how to decouple that haha
Instead of flipping the entire scene you can just flip the sprite. I'm assuming you're flipping it in the script on that person node
weirdly enough, I instantiated it via ctrl+D then flipped the scale on x to get it to go the other way. I'm wondering if I did it with code and flipping h if the text would be fixed
I had a fun time running around as a Shiba Inu.
Love blowing up humans! super awesome/funny idea! Please rate mine if you have the time <3
Nice game! Some jumps feel a bit frustrating as the plattforms are rather small and leave little room for error. I could imagine especially newer players could have issues with those. Love the idea tho and the assets use (even though you did not made them, you selected well!)
Fun little game! Loved all the little dry comments the scientists/soldiers made when they died. Also a pretty great dog animation and a sweet floaty double jump!
the game started quirky, evolved into some weird satisfaction of blowing up people and somehow managed to end in a wholesome way. Lovely experience :)
