How does the game fit the theme?
Our character Nothing can go wrong, but our other character Everything cannot. But Nothing is need to Everything to be in existence.
That`s why Everything and Nothing should work together restore to balance.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
We made it all software, sound/sfx, 2D arts etc. during this game jam.

It was a very innovative game! I enjoyed playing it, but why does Everything freezes when Nothing appears while on platform? Is it intended? Also a checkpoint would be nice. I stopped playing after I died on "level 2"
nice mechanics and love the art! maybe add a checkpoint after the first door though, it's really frustrating when you have to repeat everything you already did, only because you didn't know what's coming
This game is good, pretty looking, and very interesting.
I gave it a high rating.
But I had two problems with it that made me hate playing it.
(It might be just me, I didn't get far past the first gate, I'm really sorry.)
Everything has to wait around for a pretty long time because of it's movement limitation,
And when either Everything or Nothing is hurt, the level resets.
The combination of these gave me this experience:
1-Take a 1+ minutes to try and progress, significant part of it is just waiting.
2-Die.
3-Take another boring minute or more of doing the same thing as last time,
hopefully not screwing it up and dying again in the processes.
4-Not remember what I did wrong last time since it's been a while.
5-Die. Go back to step 3.
It's a good game, I swear. I just really dislike how I experienced it.
I'm really sorry if this came off as rude or insulting ,
I just wanted to tell you how I felt playing the game.
Wish you the best.
I like the art style, the movement is a little confusing but definitely adds a unique challenge. Nice job!
Nice game, moving in only one direction is a pretty interesting mechanic. The art style and music are really good.
Hey
This is really cute game. I liked the art and music, they go together perfectly. I was initially confused by the fact I can go only in one direction but it made sense after a while. Maybe the game needs some way to tell that only one way movement is allowed though, because for WASD input kind of makes it seem like it's a bug.
Good game and feel free to look at my game too!
Very nice! ive found some bugs where i could just fly as the black dude
idk why it happend, it just did lmao🤷
still, the game was very fun!
Favorite part was the art. I thought it was made very well overall and had engaging game play.
Really cool game, the art is really cute. I sort of ran into the spikes right at the beginning a lot cause they were hard to see- but it was fun! I really liked the concept of only being able to move forward and finding ways around it (like with the moving platforms). Really think this could go somewhere!
Cool game! Love the art style and the concept. I did struggle with the characters being really slippery when near edges of platforms. I'll agree with some of the others by saying that playing as Nothing was much more fun, though I of course understand that the difficulty and restrictions with Everything are part of the concept and relate to the theme, so I think that's a valid approach. Good stuff.
I absolutely love the concept of having two characters with their own unique little environment! The concept of not being able to move back was indeed an interesting concept but err it just kinda felt limiting at times because a wrong step could just be a cause for a long restart. But besides that i loved the visuals and animations of the little fellas :D
Thank you for your comments and feedback. We are glad you liked it ! We limited the movement of the character Everything to fit the theme and make the puzzles a bit more difficult. Sometimes it causes extra difficulty, that's true :D We will also update the game after the game jam is over for some problems.
Cute artstyle working pretty well with the game, unfortunately I couldn't get past the first door as the buttons just wouldn't work for some reason. When I stand on a button as Something and you switch to Nothing and jump, he just flies all the way up haha.
I did get a peek at this though :D

Did you only stand up on buttons without interaction ? You should press E to interaction they seems like that but not working like that :D
That's also another thing what we`ll change in next updates. Because its really confusing :)
We found the problem about flying issue :D i hope in next version that will be no more present.
Also we are really appreciate that to find our little easter egg !!
5 stars game. At first, in my head, it didn't fit the theme, but then as I played it, I understood what was happening.
Impressive art and sound, the level design and game design is incredible as well
I liked your idea! Very cool audio and visuals. Also you forgot to add physics material with 0 friction to your character, so you wouldn't be able to stuck on side of platforms(if you jump and press button into the platform (A or D) you will stuck on side of it).
I think the gameplay concept (a character that can't move back) sounds really cool and interesting on paper - but it makes for a bit of a frustrating experience at times 😅
I had a LOT more fun playing as Nothing - where I could run around freely. When playing as Everything, it felt really really strict and punishing - if you walk a LITTLE too far to the right, that's it - gotta restart, can't go back to that platform.
Another thing that was a little frustrating is that the game is very vertical - you do a lot of climbing upwards - meaning there are a LOT of "leaps of faiths" where you jump back down to the ground - but 9 times out of 10, you just land on spikes, and have to redo it allll over.
Other than that, though - the visuals are gorgeous, I loved how switching between the characters impacts the whole scene! And your take on the theme is probably the most unique take I've seen in this jam, haha. Incredible submission for a 1 week jam! I believe the game could become really really good in the future with some gameplay tweaks :D
Thanks a lot !
In the beginning our plan was Everything and Nothing able to different things thus playing with Everything also we`ll be also meaningful and fun. But until last day we couldn't polished that part in gameplay :D
But after gamejam completed we`ll update game with improvements in gameplay and clear some bugs in platforming, gameplay etc.
Very good game, and congratulations on the visuals, they are beautiful! This is one of the most gorgeous games I have seen. I liked the gameplay idea, but I found it very hard and frustrating at the start. I think the introduction should be easier because mistakes are easy to make, and unfortunately, you have to wait minutes to reach the platforms after retrying.
Apart from that, wow, this was a very impressive artistic submission!
