How does the game fit the theme?
You play as a thief trying to rob a diamond, thinking "nothing could go wrong here", since there is seemingly no security guarding the diamond. However, it's actually a big trap leading you into a dangerous cavern in which you have to escape from.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Only the audio, the background music and sound effects are from freesound.com.

Pretty interesting game! Visuals are decent its just that when picking up the crystal for the first time the falling is kind of off centered causing you to land in worser areas. Besides that though decent job on the game!

Pretty fun game! For the first game it's amazing

Thanks for playing!

fun little game, really interesting to see how a platformer turns out when you don't follow some conventions, like a symmetrical bounding box (the guy really has a funny head) and use lots of diagonals.

Especially for a first game, you can be proud of yourself!

Developer

Thank you!! The head thing was a total accident but i ended up really liking how it worked lol

Good job for a one-person game.

Congrats on 20 ratings, dope game it's hard ngl haha, it required a lot of patience and timing to land correctly. My only suggestion is that if there is coyoto time for the jumping it will feel much better with the movement controls. All the best.

Developer

Thank you! I'll look into that for sure :)

Cool concept! Some more polish on the level design and player movement could be nice, but that's a very solid entry for a first game jam! keep it up!

Developer(+1)

I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for playing!!

The music and art combine to make a very interesting atmosphere, well done! I found the physics a bit strange (which may be intended). I'm also not great at platformers, so I didn't get very far. I appreciated the frequent checkpoints though! Overall a solid entry!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

The mc make me laugh! Although I died a lot and broke but I have fun in the end

Fun! I really liked the atmosphere you crafted here

Thank you! :)

I really like the idea that you have to decide what the best option is and the art style stands out.

One thing that could make it better is a fullscreen button as its hard to read the text otherwise?

Thank you for playing! I used to have a full screen option but I think it disappeared when I changed it for browser. I'll definitely keep that in mind though!

Really nice game! I wasn't expecting that plot twist :D

The graphics and music are really cool and added a lot to the experience, but the controls felt very slow to me (maybe it's just my potatoe pc...)

Developer

Thank you for playing! in the future I plan to add more control options and settings in general :)
