This was a great and funny game, but I came across a lot of errors.

1. During my first playthrough with my comrades, at one point, my friend stopped moving altogether and his audio just kept repeating the last thing he said which was "He's scary", which started to sound like "Be scared". This was very scary and I liked it very much, but I assume it was a bug.

2. We kept getting stuck in various objects.

3. During our last playthrough, no one was deemed the "demon" and the game never stopped. Two of us had the "demon" skin, and the other was normal.

4. As the "demon", we can't hear anything.

5. As the "victims", the stamina doesn't go down when running. If its not stamina, then its not clear what it is.

6. It'd be nice if there was an option to turn up voice volume and turn down sound effect volume.

Other than that, the game was great, and I think with some polish, it could be even better! Good job on making a multiplayer game in just 7 days.

Thanks for the feedback!

  1. The audio issue is a known bug and is caused by the audio buffer not being cleared

  2. We will probably have to change up some hitboxes :/

  3. We still don’t know why this happens but it is a known issue that we will try to fix

  4. Originally the voice chat system was made so that only players can talk to players, and demon can talk to spectators, but this was changed at the last moment and was never tested.

  5. This is not a stamina bar, its a health bar. We probably should have made that more clear, it was also thrown together at the last minute.

  6. We ran out of time to do settings, sorry.

Glad you enjoyed it! I am planning to continue working on the game and polishing it after the jam, but I don’t know about my other team members.

Very cool game but needs a player base. Also shoutout to you for pulling it off in a week.

Submitted

A multiplayer game in one week. That's exceptional.

Submitted

Really nice game, improving the graphics would have proven more to it though, other than that, a very nice game.

 Well done 🌸🌸

No rooms open when I played. I'd love to see a singleplayer mode in the future though! Great job for doing it in just a week!

MULTIPLAYER IN JUST ONE WEEK! THAT'S REALLY IMPRESSIVE! Never mind that there's no single player mode. You have a working system now, I think you can develop it well. VERY GOOD JOB!

Submitted

No rooms available when I tried to play, but wow man working multiplayer is a feat in 7 days

Thanks for submitting your game to the stream if you wanted to look at it again in the future heres the vod timestamped to your game

So impressive for only a week!

Proper multiplayer game during the jam is something yon need to be proud of. Yes, smtimes buggy, a bit unpolished, but still absolutely wow.

Thx for the game)

Insanely impressive. I wish the game had slightly better visuals and more in-depth mechanics, but this is a jam after all and I can't possibly imagine making a proper multiplayer game during that - it's totally understandable you had to compromise a little.

Loved it either way, looking forward to future updates! Good luck :D

maybe a mode to play alone could be good

Yes

You are crazy, multiplayer in one week?! Great job

Submitted

Unfortunately I couldn't join any public rooms, but I still want to leave a positive rating for even attempting such a thing. Huge respect.

Submitted

Well, it's hard to rate a multiplayer game if you don't have friends to play with *plays sad music*. Consequently, I can't progress past the area with the button, and unfortunately, there’s no single-player mode. But I'll take your word for it that the multiplayer works as it should—my respect for putting together a working prototype with multiplayer in a week is amazing.

I was alone in the room so I wasn't able to play the multiplayer but still, good job on implementing it!

Really superb job making a multiplayer!! And the visuals exactly how they needed to be, Amazing!!

good job!!! Keep it up!

Submitted

Like everyone else I'm SO impressed you all got multiplayer going in just a week, and with voice chat. Didn't get to see anyone while I was on, but I'd love to see this in all its glory. Great job everyone

A real multiplayer in 1 week? Very impressed!

Didn't have a chance to play with more players yet, will come back later.

For now, I already in love the visual. Movement is fluid and smooth, can't wait for a tense and may be comedic tag game in the future!

Thanks! I made all the networking stuff, took me 2 days to make the basic library, but it can certainly do better than it currently does. I hope you have fun with your friends :D
