The movement felt very stunted and kinda awkward. The jumping was pretty jarring thanks to the sudden camera movement and the movement being more akin to teleportation. Keep studying, I'm sure you'll improve.

For this to be a game jam game. It is great. I think the controls need a bit of effort. Otherwise the theme was on another level. 

Really fun concept! Escaping from hell feels like a real challenge, but it makes victory even more rewarding. Great job!

I like the idea! It's a nice game, but the "jump" mechanic makes the camera "shake" a bit too hard and it's harder to see where you land ( once you get to the end part ). Other than that the game is cool, great job!

Good job on completing your second game jam! With some tweaks to the controls and animation and some polish, this can make for an even more fun game. Keep up the good work!

You took the theme to the extreme.  Walk around and find out I have to dodge death balls from the sky, lava floor and laser beams shooting down on me,  5 stars for enjoyment, theme and gameplay lol. It was great. I kept dying at the lava floor and I thought your jump animations were cool :P

Nice game! Camera work on jump is a bit junky :) A charming main char ^^

I like the game but a checkpoint system would help also, the jump made it feel like I was respawning so maybe make it smoother going up.
