Good game, I think some kind of indicator that an object is interactable (IE a while outline, just so a player doesnt waste time trying to find something that doesnt exist when trying to solve one of the puzzles)

How does the game fit the theme?
Your only job is to press a button over and over: nothing could possibly go wrong, but behind this simple task multiple secrets are hidden and you'll have to face many challenges.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Fonts, shaders (glitch effect and ambient occlusion) , footstep SFX and "Dialogue Manager" plugin by Nathan Hoad. Everything else is made from scratch.

That was incredible! The amount of surprises that went into this is mind blowing. I thought it was a simple game... before a giant plant started chasing me and the whole thing turned into a platformer. Some balancing could be good to have (the plant takes forever to kill, the platforming section needs checkpoint), but the overall experience is just surprise after surprise, which is amazing
Funny game, good dialogue.. FElt unsatisfying to have the timer run out and nothing happened.. also the level design in the platforming section really needs a readability rework! the objects you stand on are the same as the decoration wich makes you think there are different routes when thers not and you jump into the void! Overall really versatile
and lots of fun ideas! Good job!
Thank you for your feedback! What the timer does when it runs out is make the universe "unstable" (that's why there's a glitch effect) and after level 2 you can unlock different levels by making the timer run out (aka "glitched levels") and ultimately a completely different ending. I agree with the platform part, I tried to make uninteractable platforms move faster / slower than the other ones to make it more clear. Apart from that, time didn't let us make the game more "perfect". Thank you for playing! :)
This was cool! The flower boss was hard to kill but fun, satisfying, the platformer bit was fun too , I needed a checkpoint as I kept dying and had to go back so far! awesome work!
This was an interesting game. The objects did feel a little spammy though with how theyre clipping into eachother. But who knows perhaps it was just an art direction :D Great game anyways!
This was really fun and I loved how you made such a simple concept very difficult!
A really nice game. It has a fun and addicting factor. The only thing I can critizise is the fact that you cannot see yourself behind objects. This normally isn’t a problem but for the level where you are really small it can get kind of annoying to don’t know where you are.
For one week it’s one of the best I have seen so far ;)
Cool game, got myself stuck at the computer part for a bit, because i was trying to rename it and then double click the file, instead of pressing enter after renaming. Other than that, pretty good game. I liked the visuals and music!
Love this one, it has really cool pixel art with really fluid animations and a nice take on the theme, but it is kinda hard to beat. The second level is a huge step up from the first, I got stuck in the maze and unable to see where I was exactly, turns out I had to move upwards to unstuck myself, really hard that one, then I got stuck on the PC until I realised I had to rename the files and finally I got to the point of the flower boss fight (Flowey reference btw noice), in which I was able to make it step on the spikes once and then no more, but that might be skill issue from my part.
Thank you so much, I appreciate it! Yes, we had issues with the levels' difficulty and made some of them a bit too hard and didn't have enough time to properly test them. To beat the plant you need to make it follow you to one of the very sides of the room. You have to wait until it gets pretty close and then you sprint to the other side trying to align it to the spikes. Thank you for playing btw :)
Really nice concept with a simple goal but a good level design! I was stuck into a wall on level 3, and then see your message on this bug :D

I enjoy this so much. All parts of game have own playstyle. Maze runner, Time attack, Puzzle, Platformer. It gave me exciting and uniqueness experience. Well cook.
Extremely polished in visuals and audio, but gameplay can have some balancing for sure. Anyway, well done!
I loved it from the main menu, and when I started playing, it did not disappoint. Such a fun game!
I didn't enjoy this. It was way too easy to just get completely stuck. I'm with everyone else that level 2 was unintuitive. I got stuck on the computer. Even after looking in the comments for the solution, it was never possible for me to rename the files. Not sure what the note was for, as the F2 key never did anything. Looking into the comments it seems that the common problem with this game was the obscurity of the information that was being presented to us. A good puzzle game makes all of the tools we have to use obvious, but obfuscates the path to the solution. When you don't understand your tools or your way of interacting with the game, it tends to lead to frustration before anything else.
But hey, maybe I'm just saying nonsense because I'm bad at the game or something. Sorry I couldn't give a more positive review.
Sorry for your bad experience, as you may have noticed we had a problem with the difficulty of the levels. Most of them were easy and some more tricky. The 2nd level was rushed in the last minutes before submission and I understand the labyrinth may have been too complex. To pass the PC level you have to rename files by double clicking on the extension, renaming it to "txt" and press enter. Thank you so much for your feedback and for playing tho!
Nice game! Loved the simplistic style, but I couldn't get past the flower boss guy, I couldn't get to the button fast enough while they were still on the platform. Otherwise great job!
