How does the game fit the theme?
The theme was "Nothing can go wrong...", so you have to protect the heart of Umay, or the fate of the newborns will be sealed.

Umay, the celestial mother goddess, descends from her divine realm to breathe life into newborns. During this sacred ritual, she offers her fragile heart to the statue, a gift of pure creation.

But in the shadows lurk the minions of the underworld god, dark beings who seek to shatter the heart and bring ruin to the innocent.

You are a devoted follower of Umay, blessed with divine speed and invulnerability. Protect the heart at all costs : intercept projectiles, open doors, and feed the heart to keep it alive.

The fate of the newborns lies in your hands.

WOW!

My first thought : "Strange to make an item to gain life on the first room, while I am full life..."

Then : "why does the item move?"

"Why those thing begin to fire now?"

"OMFG! It's not an item, I need to protect it !"

Loved the feeling and the new way of thinking as a player

The game idea is really cool, the graphics are nice and fit the gameplay well! Well done!

I really liked the mechanic of the player itself being invulnerable and instead having to protect another object, that was cool. The music is also really nice!

Loved it! It's fun and creative. Music and visuals are very good! Sometimes when I was far from he heart it disappeared, got me scared for a sec.

Good job!

Such a good looking game. Props for the art direction of this. I enjoyed it a lot. The concept was really intriguing, I think the team delivered an exceptional game within the week. Great work.

Very interesting concept! I like the artstyle and the sounds, not bad!

Ahh so pretty, really good story and a decent loop

Very nice! I liked that a lot! It took a LONG time to start, but it was worth the wait.

This was a pretty nice game. I especially loved the art! Good job!

Damn I loved game. It has a nice background story. It's kind of stressfull keeping up with the heart while opening the doors collecting food etc. But think this made the game exiting and fun. Also really good music. It feels pretty polished and I can see how you could extend this core gameplay with more mechanics for more levels. Great job  guys :)

Nice game, I like the gameplay loop of trying to figure out how to open the door while protecting the heart. Would be cool to add different mechanics for solving the rooms!

fun gameplay and cool story. I wish the art could be more consistent. Nice game though 😆

Fun game! It's funny to think the heart has hearts himself. I like how it's a bit of a mix between an action game and a puzzle game. Great stuff here

Fun game, really enjoyed the art.  Saw the exact same concept on a BlackthornProd video lol.

Great game! I didn't realise you could dash until after finishing it tho ahah

Really good sound design. Could see this game having multiple levels with different mechanics (it wasn’t that hard yet) :)

Funny idea! I think the game could benefit from having multiple levels.
