Great idea to include draw backs in the upgrades. Thank you!

Thank you very much for your extensive feedback. We also had ideas of tying the whole thing in a story which explains and motivates the game. But we didn't find the time and decided to focus on making the actual gameplay ':) . But I really like your ideas on how one could expand on the sci-fi theme. And really valuable feedback on the pacing of the difficulty. We even had ideas of letting the player choose between two aspects the get more difficult (bigger map, longer sequence or more steps of the sequence revealed at a time). Or even tying it with the upgrades. Like you can get that upgrade but the sequence gets 1 or 2 longer. But that's a really good pointer from you, to decrease the general difficulty (sequence length) when the mechanic changes. And we for sure did have fun making it ;)
Really fun game and cool idea. It got a little bit easier once I had the keys for the colors in the mussel memory. Maybe a good idea for a easier start would be to also to display the correct keys directly on the enemies, so if don't remember you don't have to look to the side. You could even integrate the letters of the keys in the design of the clothes. But great job making this fun game :)
It took me a while to figure out the controls of the boomerang, because it didn't understand that you can basically drag him around. But once I figured that out I really enjoyed it and I think it's really fun game mechanic. I like it when you as a player can take risks like that (letting the boomerang fly for longer)
I'll check out your game right now :) My team and I also hat a lot of fun making this litttle puzzle game, where you play as a robo turret https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-13/rate/3336555
Hi, I rated your game and left a comment with some feedback. Here is our game https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-13/rate/3336555
Nice game. Some feedback: the thing where you get some Oxygen is imo way to small. In the second level I wass really confused Because I didn't understand that I get oxygen from that small thing. And it feels frustrating if the oxygen goes empty after a long stretch. So maybe I would make it last shorter and have more refills on the way instead.
I found interseting and engaging being chased by the shadow. Good Job!!
I rated and commented your game. Would be very happy if you check out our game https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-13/rate/3336555
Damn I loved game. It has a nice background story. It's kind of stressfull keeping up with the heart while opening the doors collecting food etc. But think this made the game exiting and fun. Also really good music. It feels pretty polished and I can see how you could extend this core gameplay with more mechanics for more levels. Great job guys :)
Damn really well made game and funny mechanic with the whole tower tilting. I really enjoyed playing, but after some time I got demotivated because I didn't understand some mechanics. I couldn't manage to get a reasonable amount of electrium, because it went down again automatically. Are the robots consuming it? If yes maybe there should be a hint in the robot house. And it felt like they are consuming more than they mine, if I assign them as miners. I tried more mines and miners, but it didn't help. Also it took me a long time to figure out there is no limit on how many miners can go into a mine. Btw I liked the small individual descriptions about each worker :)
Yess I got hired! I was so surprised and shocked when I accidentally cut my own fingers off. And the mood change was conveyed really good, by the visuals and the sound. And then it got even more grim when I tried to leave. I really liked how you conveyed that story integrated in the gameplay. Good job :)
I enjoyed sending my workers to complete tasks. But it got confusing very fast, because e.g. I couldn't see which task was already worked on. So after a while it felt like I was just randomly clicking on tasks to see if it still needs someone. And also the switching between houses made it more confusing. Maybe it would be better if you could see multiple houses and once. But I am also impressed how far you came in one week with the whole hiring and individual stats mechanics. Good job :)
