Ranked from 50 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does the game fit the theme?
Nothing can go wrong, because you can't die in this game: when your oxygen or energy runs out, you're teleported to a recharging station. But the shadows are chasing you, and the flag is so far away... Nothing can go wrong?

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Components (dependencies) for: UI, collisions, device info, input (touchscreen joysteak}.

How many people worked on the game?

Nice job! Would be great if that long level was less long or more entertaining, but overall great concept!

Not gonna lie this was a bit rough to get good at. Not that the game is bad, I mean it is only a week. But more so just certain things like the enemy and maybe increasing interactables? All in all I think it will be an even more fun game once you get back in the lab an start working on it some more. Otherwise great job to the team.

Developer

Thanks! Yes, I know. My teammate worked so hard, being in the hospital... I could not allow the total fail, I needed to release at least some game. I know that it will not get a high rating, but if I had not released the game, it would be a very hard defeat, I could not respect myself after this failure. Some of the bugs have already been fixed and I'm waiting for the end of the jam. It's unlikely that I will continue this, but I hope that we will release the game that we initially planned to make.

Nice game. Some feedback: the thing where you get some Oxygen is imo way to small. In the second level I wass really confused Because I didn't understand that I get oxygen from that small thing. And it feels frustrating if the oxygen goes empty after a long stretch. So maybe I would make it last shorter and have more refills on the way instead.

I found interseting and engaging being chased by the shadow. Good Job!!

Developer

Thanks! The second level came out too complicated. Initially, it was a tile map for the background, but time was running out, so it became a level :D

nice graphics and gameplay. I wish it had more interactive items like traps/boosters. Nice one!

Developer

Thanks! Me too, it would be interesting. In the game that we initially planned, there should have been a lot of them, but everything went wrong ...

Unfortunately I couldn't get very far in this game! No matter what I did I got pummeled by the enemy that seemed to come from nowhere, no chance to dodge or defend.

Developer

Thanks! Yep, the shadow can be annoying :D

Cool game! Feels a little rough around the edges though, some polish would be nice (audio, maybe small tutorial) and some levels feel quite empty. Still a neat entry, keep making games!

Developer

Thanks! I made levels in a hurry and at the last moment, so... What would need to be polished in audio?

Great idea! But for some reason the healthbar doesn't regenerate when you lose and the shadow drinks it again at the slightest touch.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! You need to stand a little on a spawn, it charges oxygen and energy.

Nice xoncept with your shadow that is following you. Kind of hard to know what's happening at first. Keep up the good work!

A really cool game, I love the idea of running from your shadow. With some refinement, I think this has the potential to grow beyond the scope of the jam, great job

Developer

Thanks! We want to make a game that we initially planned. And this... Hmm, maybe.

Really nice game! at some point i just started dying a lot without my charge running out and i dont know if thats cuz of a feature i didnt get or just a bug lmao

but it was still really good!

Developer

Thanks! At the second level, you need to move without stops and not forget about a charging checkpoint for to be in time.

Interesting little concept of running from your shadow. With some polish and of course more content I could see it becoming a cool little indie game on Steam etc.

Developer

Thanks!

Love the art :) i failed on level 2 ^^

Developer

Thanks! Me too, my teammate worked well on arts. The second level turned out to be too complicated, there you have to go without stopping in order to be in time.

good game nice job

Cute art, gameplay was smooth but could be improved, its a good start. Well done

Developer

Thanks! It was an amazing experience.

Really cool game, I loved the art. The concept is pretty nice and has potential to be a much more complex game

Developer

Thanks! I have the best artist in the team! Yeah, If I had more time, I would make levels more interesting. I'm glad that I managed to finish at least like that.

Cool idea and good art, but the levels aren't that fun

Submitted(+1)

nice idea, but the levels are pretty boring, and the collision of the rock props is bugged

Developer

Thanks! I made the levels in a hurry, so... the collisions with rocks is feature (such was an idea), because rocks are obstacles.
