The game is very complete. The art looked fantastic and the gameplay felt relaxing. For whatever reason however, the movement with arrow keys felt incredibly slow compared to the touch controls. Overall, a really fun experience. I would look forward to playing it again if it receives any updates.

How does the game fit the theme?
Our protagonist, Dig, an archeologist, gets the ability to rewind time after falling in a ditch and encountering a strange statue. He is then tasked with preventing a war between two factions that might just destroy the valley and the villages in it.
The only problem being that he has to do so in just a day. Whenever Dig is not able to prevent the war, he uses his powers to rewind time and try again, ensuring that nothing ever goes wrong!

Surprisingly the game is pretty big considering you had only a week, good job!
Nice storytelling. Also really impressed by the amount of dialog, considering it was only one week. I couldn't figure out how to get into the chickens village and wasn't motivated enough for a second try :(
Ok! Nice. I rushed through it all and managed to win on the first try.
I really enjoyed the story! Some of the dialogue was sort of childish, though that is perfectly ok since the dev team is more likely young. So nice job on that regard. The NPCs were definitely charming and unique.
The issue I have with games like these, combining a cycle with a long timer, is that failure feels too punishing, in that repeating a lot of the game seems rather obnoxious. Talking with the same NPCs, solving the same puzzles, etc. Luckily I managed to beat it in my first attempt, so I didn't actually see what happens if you fail, but I'm guessing it was a complete restart. The other reason is that a narrative game can't be properly enjoyed if the timer keeps ticking down even during dialogue. In the end, I ended up rushing through conversations and had the "Run" key held down the whole time.
For most of the scenarios the difficulty was impressively balanced and you knew where to go, the only exception being the fact that you need to visit the inn before getting access to the chicken village.
In general, very nice job! Perhaps most of these issues are my personal tastes, but for everything else, very good work.
EDIT: Almost forgot. I'm not sure how my "infamy score" affected the game in the end. I just made sure to speak with everyone before the bosses.
This was a nice game! Very reminiscent of the old pokemon style games with that art style, anyways the game seemed to run perfectly fine on my firefox despite the warnings lol. Ncie job!
I love the retro style of this game! Reminds me a lot of the old Pokemon games (especially the music)! I did get a little confused on what I was supposed to be doing after "starting the run", but other than that I had a blast interacting with all the different people in the town! Overall a very enjoyable experience, great job!
The visuals in this game are really nice! I also enjoyed the green monochrome palette that was decided on.
I found it a little hard to get into, there were a few spelling errors which I'm not usually fussed about but this was a very dialogue heavy game so it did impact the overall enjoyment a little bit.
I really love the level of detail put into the backstory! It feels like a very big game considering there was only a week put into this. Keep it up! :)
Cool concept! I like the idea of bragging to progress through the story! Though I got stuck a bit, it was a fun experience! The interactions are funny and very entertaining. There are a lot of content and gameplay, great work for a game jam! The vibe feels like pokemon and I like it!
Cool and long game! I loved the style and visuals. It was very difficult for me to figure out the path, especially as someone who didn't read the spoilers below. I would recommend adding a quest, or hints in the game, for players like me, who seem to get lost.
Strengths:
1) Smooth start. Dialogues introduce the game, first quest is easy to complete*.
2) Lots of content for such a small game. Full playthrough.
3) Settings, they are there. Rare for a jam.
4) Hit the jam theme.
5) Saves. Oh my gosh, this game has saves!!!
Weaknesses:
1) Music, should have at least turned the volume down to 50% by default. It has a lot of high notes, it's tiring (high frequency music is bad for background). It's also too short and lacking variety.
2) Sounds are not normalized to the overall level. Am I right? It would be great to follow the EBU R128.
3) Only arrows, WASD doesn't work.
4) No fullscreen, game area doesn't zoom.
* I tried doing something with three rocks before I realized I just need to keep moving. I'm a bit dumb :D
I liked the retro vibe, I will have to try it more later as you made alot of content! Very impressive for 7 days~
