Thank you!! ^-^

Thanks for that, 264 is pretty good! :D

Thanks for playing & for the kind words!

I too enjoyed watching the numbers go up, at least for a while

We're super glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you for the kind words and the feedback!

I'd definitely want to improve the way the story gets delivered in a future game of this style, whether  that means adding an adjustable timer you player can set in options or just having an input be required each day.

We're super thankful you played it :D

That's so incredibly kind of you to say, we're so glad you enjoyed it! :D

Thank you for the kind words! we're super glad you enjoyed our little game ;-;

Yes i am so sick of that song at this point lmao - ideally a future game of this type would better implement adaptive music to avoid the repetition that came through with this one, but i'm glad you liked it!

thank you so much, im glad you enjoyed it! :D

i do love storytelling; i'm happy it's resonated so well ;-;

thank you! Sorry for the crisis. though delivering one is high praise

super tight pico-8 game! lovely visuals, crisp audio, simple controls tying together into something that's easy to understand and get into. what's not  to like? i scored 6820ish and I'm pretty sure i hit a small child with my speed boat.

incredible.

the art in this was absolutely phenomenal! Really great work, it made the atmosphere great :D

It was a bit hard to spot the third book as others have said, but that's an easy fix. After that, the puzzle was well done too - i love forcing people to read >:)

I would have loved more puzzles and rooms to explore, but I totally get that this was a limitation of the jams timeframe - what you produced looked amazing, I really really liked it. these sorts of first person mystery games are right up my alley!

Also, i know it's an odd callout, but i specifically really liked the trees out the window - they looked so good!

This had a great vibe and atmosphere, fantastic work!

wow great effort getting a 3d game to work for the jam! That's super impressive in the timeframe :D

i was a little confused at what to do, and the super short timeframe made it a bit hard to solve the goal of the game, but i think the idea behind it works! the atmosphere was also very well done, especially with the lighting in the below area :)

good job!

this was sick! multiplayer would go so hard

the art looked great and the music choice slapped :)

i did keep trying to jump with 'w' which lead to a lot of dying, and the j/k for shooting took a little getting used to as i was just trying to shoot in the direction i was travelling, but i think this is a great idea done really well! Good job :D

i actually quite enjoyed this! The wrangling mechanic was quite nice, and i like that you can throw the cows as well lol

I would have loved to see some upgrades you could purchase, like speed or multi-cow wrangling, but this as is is still fun :D

I also loved the little sprites, and the fun pixel-art ui :D

Great work!

Great effort with your first game, this is super impressive! The art is fantastic and the idea behind it was super creative :)

I also had a few issues trying to type things in, but luckily I could copy/paste from a notes program so i could get around that one!

Really fantastic job with this, be proud! :D

the visuals here are absolutely stunning!

great use of the medium to tell a story too, loved that :)

Did not see the very sudden ending coming lol. but the overall game was quite nostalgic. poor thing never got her horse :(

this was super cute! I loved the art and the choice to only give the plant colour :)

i got a little confused how to stop the weather, but i decided to just stop it with my little guy and that turned out to be the right choice! and i'd do it again for my little bud!

the style of this was also super neat, i really liked how you framed it :)

Great little game, fantastic work!

great work with the art in this! the cards all look great, as did the girl and the demon fella!

Also great work getting the dialogue to function - definitely takes planning to get right :)

The only thing i'd want is a way to skip through the dialogue as it ran through a bit slow for me, especially after i had to restart a few times. I know you allowed us to jump straight to the memory game but i also would want a way to speed up the individual dialogue typing effects

that said this is a great effort, and im super happy to see more text-heavy games, good work :D

Thank you!!

thank you so much! :D

thank you!!

thank you for the kind words, we're glad you liked it!

and thanks for your input, accommodating for other languages definitely wasn't something i'd considered, but you make an excellent point! I maybe couldve added a speed option for how long each text forces the day to go for, or added a toggleable option for user input to be required before moving on. Thanks for bringing that up! :D

thank u omg ;-;

aaaa omg thank you so much!! That's super kind of you, we're really glad you enjoyed it :DDDD

thank you :D

hey thanks so much for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed our little game :)

Thanks for the feedback! I think adding an option to adjust turn speed would have definitely been something I'd've liked to do

Thanks for the kind words!

visually a very fun game! i was a little unsure of how to keep getting better after i kept eclipsing the score by hundred of thousands lol

i was  a bit confused about why my dvd icon kept dying when it was just bouncing of the targets, but it didn't really inconvenience me too much so i guess that's ok.

i wish there was a bit more to the artefacts / upgrade systems, but the core loop works quite well!

Great job!

this game has so much character i lvoe love love it!

the art was stellar, and the writing of all the characters was v engaging :) the 2d/3d combo always looks so fun and this was no exception!

i did have to follow the guide to know what the heck to do though - would not have done it myself otherwise

that said, this is a great - and very complete - feeling little game! Absolutely great work :D

this was super fun wow! great work all around! That final boss is brutal though, i tried like 10 times and almost got it a few, but it was too hard for me :c

Really good job :D

this was definitely one of the stronger ones i've come across thematically, and the art supported that goal well. I will say, i didn't see the content warning until after the end of the game, so you may want to consider including that in the game itself just to be safe :)

this was an effective little game, and one that was trying to deliver a message - which is always appreciated in these jams. good work :)

i do not have TIME for FUN

i must make LEEK SOUP and DO LAUNDRY and SELL MY LABOUR

:-:

10/10

(love the art, the idea, the sound, the gameplay, v v good work)

great puzzle game! The addition of new elements every few levels wa a great way to keep it interesting!

Love the art of the little guy as well :)

I got stuck on 3-2 and just could not work it out, but i really enjoyed my time playing :D Good work!

this was super fun, if not a liiiittle frustrating at times lol seems you got the perfect times down to a T and didn't leave much room for forgiveness hahaha

the time loop mechanic is in a lot of these entries, but this one did it quite well - quick loops, clear indicators and consistent rules

the art was also quite good!

I really liked the intro narrative, but wish that kept up throughout it a little more - either in flavourtext or between-scene advancements. but that just means there's something to add once the jam is over! Great work :)

the art was fantastic, particularly in that opening title screen. The hook mechanic was also super neat, though i did get stuck at one point and couldnt find a way through the gap surrounded by thorns, overall a super interesting platformer with a lot of potential to go further into a full game. great work!

really cute artwork here! And the idea behind it is super cool!

it felt like the time limit to get the food in front of the person was a bit too aggressive, but overall this was a good game. Good job!

I did, however, disappoint my family :c

aaa thank you so much!!

this was cool, loved the art! I managed to get to the end (i think it was the end?) but a raygun wielding scientist stopped me from saving the day!

It was a little tricky getting the interactions working with the stickynotes ans scientists, and i had to open my notes app to keep track of everything. then i spent... too long ... figuring out the code from the clues.

I think a notepad that keeps track of these things in game would have been super useful, but this is still a great entry into the jam!

Good work!

This was actually quite fun! I can see where the others are coming from re: camera, but once i got used to it and took my time it worked quite well :) the idea behind this is great, and i love how the bullets curve around the donut as well. Plus the effects look great!

I reckon the camera isn't as much an issue as the size of the donut is - if it was a bit bigger, there would be a slower transition and less drastic/sharp curves that may be throwing folks off. That would also help with keeping track of where thing are, and lining up to the glowy orbs that act as your ammo too. But the core idea and elements all work, it's just fine-tuning those details!

Overall this was definitely a fun little game, and i can see this being developed further into a super neat little arcade game!

super cute game! Love the art and the sounds/music :) The collection system was also a great game loop to keep me going forward

I kept trying to go back when i missed something I hadn't collected yet, but the invisible  wall made me loop all the way back 'round. Makes sense with the theme though!

I built my nest from rubbish, crushed pokemon cards and an absolute lungfull of ciggie butts >:)
