How does the game fit the theme?
Your only job is to press a button over and over: nothing could possibly go wrong, but behind this simple task multiple secrets are hidden and you'll have to face many challenges.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Fonts, shaders (glitch effect and ambient occlusion) , footstep SFX and "Dialogue Manager" plugin by Nathan Hoad. Everything else is made from scratch.

Really enjoyed the game! The sounds are great, and the pixel art is awesome!
Good concept and fun gameplay. Maybe gameplay can be better when movement speed is faster and time more short. But that was fun !
Hello everybody, we were informed of a problem that could make the player stuck inside walls, this is the only serious problem we encountered so far and it can only occur inside a level; if the screen shakes, STAY STILL. Otherwise , you could align exactly with a maze that will spawn inside the room, we're sorry for this issue, but we didn't fix it in time. Hope you'll enjoy regardless ! :)
I enjoyed this a lot! It's hard to believe that this was only made with 2 people! I will say, I did experience a softlock that made me quit before the end, but before that I had a lot of fun! I'm sure there was much more I didn't see, it was a cool concept, and I had a blast playing it!
I was expecting to hear that, it's a serious issue that we didn't manage to correct in time, we heard of it from other players too. We're sorry if it ruined your experience. By staying still and letting the maze spawn, tough, you can experience the rest of the game without problems (and thank you for your feedback! ) :)
Existential crisis button! That cosmic zoom-out effect? Mind-blowing. Sat for 5 mins post-credits questioning reality 😅 Brilliant minimalism. Check my jam game if you regain meaning in life!
Really trippy game, you explored the theme perfectly. Only critique I have is that at times I kind of felt lost while playing, like I didn't know what to do. But yeah, it's a crazy good game considering it was made in seven days
This was really trippy, in a good way.
the second button was annoying, i could not fit trough the intended path the first try ao got stuck for a while. The second to last button was torture, im sorry to be so harsh.
amazing game besides that
Ok, real talk here for a second. Have you done something about Karl yet? He needs to be dealt with.
I really greatly enjoyed the atmosphere you created with this one. I like the stage-based gameplay to keep the pace fast and the semi-microgame vibe to each stage. I was especially pleasantly surprised when I got a platforming area too! The harsh sounds between stages felt especially fitting, but maybe a touch too loud.
I was able to complete the game, but I did have some issues with the mini stages that required restarting. I had three occasions where I saw a path that I thought I could squeeze through, I got halfway, and then I'd be stuck. My player would turn his facing according to the key press, but his position wouldn't change.
I have no idea if there's a consequence for not pushing the button because I realized after hitting the end that your atmosphere compelled me to push the button. Well done!
Cool concept !
Unfortunately i was stuck at the vent level. Couldn't press the second button to turn them off.
Overall i liked the game !
