How does the game fit the theme?
Your only job is to press a button over and over: nothing could possibly go wrong, but behind this simple task multiple secrets are hidden and you'll have to face many challenges.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Fonts, shaders (glitch effect and ambient occlusion) , footstep SFX and "Dialogue Manager" plugin by Nathan Hoad. Everyting else is made from scratch.

Cool game, although it was hard to figure out what to do. I reset 3 times because I didn't know that I could kill the mutant flower. also crazy ending!! ggs
Nice little puzzles. I liked the character's pixel art animation.
If possible if you work on it after the jam, it would be nice for the timer to start only after the level's dialogue is done
Hello! It is nice to see that you have worked on every level, by making it special with something. That worker was trippin for sure. Simple mechanic with collision, but very powerfuly delivered.
Hello there, really liked your take on the buttons! The flow was smooth and really enjoyed it.
Not sure I finished it though, after renaming the file, it just zoomed in and could not move.
This is a really good concept for a game, I think you need a headphone warning for the transition sound, but there’s so much potential for level design here! really cool
Liked your game! But I got stuck on computer level. Also in level 2 (when you are small) I pressed button after a timer, but I still passed.
What not pressing the button before the timer runs out does is that you'll unlock a "good ending", so nothing apparently happens, but when the screen starts glitching you'll be brought in the "bad ending". I'm sorry you had problems with the pc. What you have to do is rename the file in .txt and press ENTER to confirm and open the decrypted file. Thank you for tour feedback anyway :)
Thank you, I finally understood what to do. But I found two ore one bug:
- When you renamed one file to txt, then entered desktop, then back to those files, then click (open, not rename), it says that it is bad extension.
- Can't exit computer. Or I must rename two files? (as I understood, if I don't open not important file it will be good ending)
Lol, even with your tips I still spent 30 minutes figuring out what I need to do. First I tried looking on the wall before entering computer, then I tried pressing arrow keys, then WASD then retrying it for 10 times. And after that I figured out that there are numbe on the walls. To be honest, those type of numbers are used veeeeery rarely in my country. Thank you so much for helping me! And I'm sorry for asking so many questions.
Interesting riddles, visuals are pleasant as is the music! I didn't immediately understand how to get through the flowers. Also, I didn't immediately understand how to rename the file, I figured it out by trial and error. And after transferring to the computer world, my character got stuck and couldn't move.
I like the idea and the puzzles were creative. Unfortunalt I had some issues. When I had to rename the files, I spent way too much time figuring out how to do it. When pressing F2, I was expecting the file name to do like on PC. Some more feedback/animation here could really be good! Also, when entering the maze, I spawned half inside a wall and got stuck, couldn't move anymore. Otherwis, the animations were very smooth and souds were great!
Like the game a lot! Nice puzzles, super interesting :)
Skip button for replaying would be good. And when I renamed the files, I couldn't just open then second time, needed to rename and press enter once again
Ha! I like the simple mechanic - get through a maze of office furniture. I got jammed next to a file cabinet on the second level and no key got me unstuck, so I didn't play to the end to see what happens when I keep pushing the button.
Music, SFX and art work great together.
I hope you'll have a look at one or two games from this jam I helped with:
Loved it! Very fun and creative. I wish the player would be faster, even if it means I'll have less time to finish each level. Because right now it's too slow.
The megaphone (carl) looks like some kind of a creature to me, so it took me some time to realize that the yellow stuff coming out of it is indicator of noise and not part of it XD
Keep it up!
I love how the character just bops his head up and down as he walks haha, so cute. Also a game where i GET to press the big red button! yes please!
A job just to press button, who wouldn't want that? This game is incredible! The concept is simple (press the button) but you expanded it into so many other cool mechanics and wild idea!
The general aesthetic is amazing, you really nailed that abandoned haunted factory feeling, and that coupled with a fitting music and that abrupt flashing transition, you've managed to created such an immersive and eerie vibe.
The game reminds me a lot of undertale, specifically the secret lab part of the game, what with the sunflowers and what not.
Overall this is an amazing work!
<span class="EzKURWReUAB5oZgtQNkl" data-src-align="0:3" <this<="" span="">This game</span> reminded me a lot of undertale. The visual and audio components are very good. Good job
Howdy! I'm Flowey. Flowey the Flower.
Absolutely loved it! Many different stages with their own gameplay elements, excellent sound design, fun visuals - what more can you ask for?
Very impressive!
I did not expect a boss fight and a chase scene! Very interesting concept, I don't know what happened in the end, I guess the universe imploded, but I enjoyed it! Well done and good luck!
Very cool and creative! I think I got stuck at the computer level, couldn't read anything even though I renamed them to .txt. but overall very enjoyable, well done :)
