How does the game fit the theme?
In a kitchen where one mistake could lead to shut down, everything has to be done perfectly.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

I really like the gross kitchen vibe, Gordon Ramsey is definitely shutting this place down. It wouldnt take my ham and tomato order for some reason.
Overall is good. The only concern is text instruction are kind of distraction.
Good visuals and sound choice but the texts are a little overwhelming and make it shorter would be better I suppose.
Love the graphics and the ambiance, but I suck so much at cooking ^^ Nice submission
I can truly sense the emotions and atmosphere you aimed to convey to players through the game, and it’s executed wonderfully. The clicking and exploration mechanics remind me of classic point-and-click escape games—you’ve done a fantastic job!
Not really my type of game but I can tell a lot of work was put in, it really nails that dirty kitchen aesthetic though I couldn't catch the rat :[
After two people have said this, I should have made it more clear in the tutorial, but lessons for next time I guess, the rat doesn't ever permanently go away, you swat him to keep him away!
Diving into this game felt like stepping into a chaotic kitchen where every second was a wild scramble.
And the main question: how much times I need to click on mouse to catch it?
the mouse will always get closer to you, no matter how many times you swat him. He gets farther away if you swat him though!
Maybe that wasnt wise of me to play just after my lunch.
Anyway, nice game, and nice setting! 10/10 Ratatouilles
Oh my god that was so
grossfun!!! 10/10 would servemoldy breadcompletely healthy food to customers again.I love the art style and setting! Fun game!
Nice jam entry! Really works together when you get into the flow of putting food in the oven, frantically removing mold, and trying to make the rest of the sandwich before the meat burns. Day 5 definitely bested me, and probably the toughest overall part was lining up the hand for the mold removal, since the hit point is kinda arbitrarily in the middle of the hand, but once I got around that it was a good time for sure!
That being said, I'm no expert on the food preparations industry, but I'm suspicious that not everything happening in this restaurant is... ah... entirely up to food safety standards :P
Glad you enjoyed it! And as an official representative of the disaster deli company, I can assure you that nothing unsanitary is happening here Mr. Health Inspector.
Can confirm that many bribes were sent to the Health Inspection Office in order to keep the Deli in business
Looks cool, I couldn't find the download link though :(
Visit the itch.io page now, it should be just in the middle of the page! Sorry if it wasn't in the last version!
I liked the game! But there could be losing condition, I wasn't forced to work fast. The visuals are very nice. Nice game!
This is an old comment, but sorry about the lose timers! There was a bug that made them run slowly. Anyway, glad you enjoyed!
