How does the game fit the theme?
A nuclear weapon development formula was stolen from a research institute by a spy who passed this information to an accomplice hiding within the institute. Although the spy was later caught, the accomplice's identity remains unknown. However, the institute has a 100% accurate AI security system that has recorded everyone's movements. Nothing can go wrong, don't worry to submit the wrong answer.

It really felt like sudoku with people in rooms. Great work!
I LOVED this game! The feeling of being a detective and putting stuff on the billboard is just excellent. I would really love to see this on Steam, too! The moment I realized the case was procedurally generated was also incredible. If you expand the game, I think it could be interesting to have slightly more 'personal' stories, maybe hear what the suspects have to say (if their alibi clashes), actually look at real camera images, that kind of stuff, but you're definitely on the right track with this concept!
What a great idea for the game!
I really enjoyed solving this mystery, but I have to admit that I never got to the truth) I'm a lousy detective, haha!
Cool visuals and soundtrack. Very good job!
I really liked the basic idea, trying to put together multiple different sources with spotty data in order to pinpoint down the suspect. That's really the core of any good detective game. And here it was executed well for a game jam, though I would love to see a more fleshed-out version if this ever becomes a bigger project - once you've played the current version a couple times, the logic that you go through is kind of the same every time. Maybe you could have multiple setups with different room layouts, or multiple different Accomplices/handoffs you need to track down, or the Spy's identity is also obscured in addition to the Accomplice, or maybe certain characters can move in special ways (e.g. only the Chef and the Housekeeper have access to the Kitchen, or there's a secret passage that only the Boss knows about. Or you could have different sources of data, like possibly-faulty testimonies by the suspects. There are a lot of ways you could extend this basic logic puzzle if you were so inclined.
Thank you so much for the in-depth and constructive feedback! I really appreciate how thoroughly you've thought about the game's potential. Your suggestions could definitely make the game more replayable and engaging. The idea of possibly-faulty testimonies is particularly intriguing and could add another layer of strategic detective work. Your insights give me some exciting directions to consider if I decide to develop this concept further. Thanks for taking the time to share such helpful and creative suggestions!
Such a cool, interesting detective game! It made my two singular braincells begin to beg for mercy, but I was eventually able to figure it out. It's amazing how you managed to make such a fun, original game with text and simple art alone! Fantastic job, and an amazing submission.
A full on detective game! Easily one of the most original concept in this jam!
I love all the pins, markers, and notes, they're very intuitive and useful, but also make you feel like you're a real detective solving a case! Overall fantastic job on this!
Very well done!! I like how just with text and simple markers you pull out a very interesting game, reminds me of board games. But I really like the simplicity, congratualtions and keep pushing forward <3
It's very simple yet very fun, it's very similar to cluedo. I found the pins and the notes not very useful, outside of roleplaying, I simply used the maps, the markers and the CCTV and the Log system to figure out who, my first run was pretty lucky, I did spent it most of the time figuring out who the game worked and I tracked the position of everyone during all the five hours, but once I got it it was pretty obvious who it was because there was no other possible candidate, but then the following runs weren't as lucky and I had the ?:00 which made it more interesting, love that randomization, you can get lucky and have it super easy or have something more challenging yet not very difficult.
I'd love if you could copy and paste markers, it got a bit tiresome clicking marker and selecting the name I wanted, also if they appeared at the center of the screen view, they appeared at the left side which was a little annoying, but no biggie.
I found the best strat it just forgetting about everyone else, just track the spy during all the hours, then use the CCTV to see the rooms the spy was in at each time and see who was there.
One bug I've found is that the music seems to reset everytime I click, and the volume slider doesn't seem to really work, like at the start I set the slider to 0, and the music doesn't plays, as you'd expect, but eventually the music does start to sound, despite the slider being at 0.
Anyways. really fun game, like, I couldn't stop playing it.
Thank you very much for your detailed feedback. It's extremely helpful. I think your comment about improving quality of life with copy and paste functionality is important, and we will definitely implement it. Regarding the audio bug, we acknowledge and understand the issue - thank you for reporting it. Most importantly, your detailed gameplay experience and feelings are incredibly valuable. Thank you again for sharing.
I think it’s a nice concept and the game looks really cool too. It would be cool if you could for example duplicate the tools (with the markers placed on them) and also move them around with the markers moving along. Apart from that I enjoyed it a lot and had a fun time figuring out who was the accomplice.
What's a very interesting game! In my first try, I tried to track all people but after that i realized that i just need to keep track the spy only and completed the game much faster.
Cool idea! True makes you feel like a detective.
The music doesn't sound quite right in the web version though.
This was so fun! I love puzzle mystery games like this and having to do notetaking to track the 6 people's movements was so engaging. Really great job!
I had so much fun figuring out who dun it!! This was masterfully crafted. I loved laying out all the rooms and tracking everyone's movements. Using deductive reasoning to figure out who it was, and I got it right the first time! This is such a creative game and you all executed on it perfectly. Well done!
Oh thats a great idea ! a digital canva to try to solve crimes, really liked it :) well done !
My first case I created a really detailed map of everyone's movements at all times, but for the rest of the cases I realized it was a lot faster just to use log and camera. It was a really cool game that made me feel like a detective!
What a unique look to the game! I managed to crack the case, and was hoping there would be a more challenging case to really try out the tools. Great job!
Fantastic one! I had fun trying to figure it all out. I'm also amazed that the situations are randomised, I makes the replayability great!
If I'm really nitpicking I would have liked a bit more quality of life options, like pins for every suspect, or allowing to copy and paste notes, but what you gave us is already super great for a jam. Excellent job!
