Ranked from 28 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does the game fit the theme?
Last night, the monsters threw a wild feast, chugging barrels of Green Goo—a wobbly, questionably edible drink.

Well, now everyone is poisoned.

As the village witch, your job is to gather ingredients, brew potions, fix the mess, and try not to make things worse. But don’t worry—nothing can go wrong… right?

Mechanically, we have two mini-games that require careful execution to successfully brew the potions to help the monsters. Mistakes mean you need to start over a bit.

Awesome game!!! Such fun gameplay and incredible visuals!! Loved the design of all the monsters and items which helped to bring it all together! It got progressively more challenging in an amazing way  which kept me engaged!

Very fun game! I really like the control scheme, it fits the concept extremely well! I like how the difficulty increases quickly, it makes the arrow pressing a lot more fast-paced and chaotic! The art is really well made, good job! Overall the game is quite unique and polished. Well done!

I loved the cat cheering you on from the side! The graphics were amazing, especially the potions. I really enjoyed playing!

i loved the game's aesthetics. The way the arrow keys are used is also fun—kind of like Guitar Hero. Well done, it's really great!

Really nice arcade game. Potions go hard. You could have used a gnome though :)

The game is fun! The raising of lvl complexity feels good for me
I like this type of mini-game a lot! Like in Helldivers

We love potion games! <3

The game is cute and fun. The art design is beautiful and the gameplay is also enjoyable.

Loved the difficulty of the game and the feedback from doing the arrow inputs!! The fact that the arrows are the same for ingredients gave it a good learning curve for the speed increasing, big fan!! :)

Nice game! 6 is my hard limit, it gets sooo hard suddenly T_T

Edit: It would have been nice if you'd accumulate a spare pool of time if you save others quickly! :O

Nice game, fun gameplay and cool soundtrack! Gameplay loop is simple but very engaging, works well. I would say I'm not a big fan of the art because of the inconsistent pixel size, but I know that's a matter of preference and many people don't bother too much. Also you probably don't need a "block of text"-kind of tutorial, especially for simple gameplay like this: glancing at the tutorial I thought the game would be compelx, but not at all!

All in all a fun game, keep it up!

Wow, I had so much fun with the  button inputs! It really reminded me of playing DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) – the satisfying hit effects and addictive SFX made the gameplay incredibly engaging. Fantastic work!

Nice crafting game! I like the mood and visuals, even I'm not much into crafting-serving games like this.

Good visuals and good tempo. The game is simple enough to easily get onboard.

The gameplay was simple, but enjoyable, as well as easily understandable.

5 is my max score, the acceleration is too fast for me after that! Well done!

cool game and I really liked the pixel art. the game ramping is definitely brutal since I could only get to 5. Though the fact that the ingredients had set patterns did make it go a bit smoother after a few attempts. overall great submission!

Developer

Thank you! Yes, we think the difficulty curve needs tweaking too! <3

I'm glad you noticed that the arrow patterns are fixed per-ingredient to help players get better at it with replays.

Holy cow what a soundtrack. Even the main menu feels urgent :D

Beautiful and simple concept which is easy to get into kept me wanting to get better. The 5 monsters I saved can thank me later ^^

If I could wish for one thing it would be randomly generated combinations of inputs. After a while the same ones kept repeating which made some monsters easier than others

Keep it up ♥

Thank you for the lovely feedback!

We decided to go with static ingredient->arrows mapping because we wanted to reward replays so people could get better by learning the patterns for each ingredient. The ingredients per-monster are randomized. We could also benefit from adding more ingredients too!

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and the monsters definitely thank you.

Thank you for the kind words! <3

This was fun! I agree with others about the aggressive difficulty curve. And a preference would be to have a secondary visual indicator in place to distinguish the different input directions

Developer

Yes, we also agree about the difficulty curve. =-)

Can you share more here? Are you thinking like a different color for each arrow direction?
