Hi there! I love your tool, I used it for a couple of jams and it is very easy to implement <3 I referenced you in my itch page.
I only have one question, I'm using v2.8 since may 2024. But there are everyday several periods of 20-40min where the leaderbords won't respond, always from 21.00-22.00 CET, even trying to open them from here (leaderboard-creator) it says "Internal server error". Is it a known issue that you are fixing on the 3.0 or do you know that this is happening?
I mean it is free so no problem, and I also managed those cases from the games, so you can play them without leaderboard, but it's a pitty when some player tells me that couldn't open the game :(

The idea is really creative and I love it ^^ I played for an hour or so and didn't win a single time though hahah Maybe skill issue, luck issue or metabalance of the game, but well the fact is that I didn't even win a single time, understanding the mechanics and everything.
Anyway I'll give a super good rating, love the concept, the art and the theme coverage, becouse nothing can go wrong in a gamedev jam... NOTHING !! hahahah
Much love and keep pushing forward.
The art is super cool and polished, just with the art before entering the game already made me want to play it. And inside the game the art is also very impressive. Love the world and the characters, also how you present the text is very nice. The gameplay and game loop could be more interesting or challenging. But guys, very well done for a jam!! Congratulations <3 If you would like collaborate sometime and need some programming hands don't hesitate to ask ^^
Very well done!! Love the simplicity of the mechanics and rules. I really enjoyed playing it and that is not easy to make in a jam game <3 Also love the cute art and the interactions with the boss ^^
To give some feedback, I would show the rules of the blocks you are choosing before resume the game, maybe both choices before deciding, or at least once you have chosen them, to prepare a little bit.
I liked how you covered the theme, very innovative.
Just to give some feedback, i think it misses some characters to engage more, but as the art and the music was cool it was not a big issue. I would add more options in the combats to feel that you can act more. But well done and keep pushing forward!! :) Congratulations to all of you!! <3
Amazing job!! Really love it ♥
The theme coverage is clean and funny, the gameplay is very clever and easy to understand, the sfx are hilarious, the music is perfect for the thrill of the game and the calm in the shop... It's a perfect jam game.
Just to give you some feedback, I would have added something like "wave" count and a leaderboard, would have been addictive, and maybe punishing more when you hit with the rocket the animals. But just an opinion!! Enjoyed it so much.
You caan!! In the pause menu, if you press P or ESC, you can skip the tutorial! Even enable an immortal mode where nothing can go wrong. Should have written that in the first note.. It is also written in the game page (:
But thanks for the kind words, I'll play Angry Shepherd tomorrow after work! Much love from Spain <3
Man really clever! The most important thing in a jam for me is to focus on the theme, and it is very well covered.
Finished it with the 2 endings ^^ and with the speedrun record, by finishing it before pressing space hahah
Never had the balls to do a jam alone, so hats off to you and lots of respect ♥
Love the gameplay, first i thought that had to aim with the mouse, but once i understood I hit where the player aims with wasd, i enjoyed it so much <3 Love this kind of games, its a very good starting point for a soulslike or mmorpg. Polished visuals, story and audio. Crazy you did this for a jam..
If you could try ours, would mean the world ^^
Thanks for the comments, the ideas was to make the tutorial as some tips for the player, but the first part was intended as a phase of the actual game, not just a tutorial. Also implemented a system to remember the tips already given, but in order not to lose information when not reading them, I thought it was going to be better if you decide to toggle it on/off from the pause menu.
But with all the comments I'm receiving about it, maybe I should have moved the player to the second phase if the tutorial is skipped.. But well, it's a troll game, like Getting with Hammer it or so, the idea is to get good at it by repeating it. Also, if you didn't see there is an Immortal Mode pressing "i", so that you can see the whole course and the final cinematic without nothing going wrong :)
But anyway, thanks a lot for your kind words, it means a lot to me <3

Thanks for playing it! Means a lot to me <3
In the Pause Menu you can skip the tutorial. I actually implemented some memory, so the tutorial skipped the steps already shown, but my flatmate didn't read a message and as it didn't show again, he was not overcoming a simple obstacle T.T
I thought that was better to leave it always, as it is easy to skip with SPACE. And you can always toggle it through the pause menu ^^
