People saying this game is easy has me baffled because I could not make it past 2-3 stages.
Nonetheless it is a pretty cool idea and very well done. Nice job!
Cat game yay!!
This is a lot of fun! I thought the contrast of the eerie atmospheric soundtrack with the voice recorded sound effects was hilarious xD
The game fits the theme well with repurposing the bucket to proceed through the levels. The various mechanics were interesting, only one I had trouble with was the running one which required a certain timing to get through.
Nice job!
Very unique and interesting idea!
I like how the character spins around. The mechanic of picking up and detaching objects works quite well, and synergizes with the spinning mechanic to pick up objects at different angles and "clothe" yourself in them to block the lasers.
I think this game is at its best when you are moving and picking up objects quickly, especially with the upbeat music vibe. It kind of reminds me of the Sonic games.
I was having a lot of fun until I ran into this level, where you go down a ramp picking up speed and objects in a circle. Then you are forced to recombine through a narrow pathway, and recombine again to block the lasers through a narrow maze:

I could probably get through it with some perseverance; but I felt like this level forced me to slow down too much and took away from the fun. Overall I really like the concept and this game definitely deserves a high rating. I would definitely play a longer and more polished version of this game. Nice job!
Hi! Thank you for the kind words. I have done a few of my own menus in the past, but for this project I used Maaack's game template which is available in the Godot Asset Library. This is also my 2nd time using the template; I used in our project for GWJ#81. Thanks <3
Love it! Figuring out how to "operate" was a bit tricky (pressing F forces the camera to a weird angle, I preferred to just walk around and use shift to zoom.)
Would have liked to see some variety in tools used to operate on the zombies; and some kind of ending.
Overall nice job!
PS: the zombie animations are so hilarious
My favorite part of the game:
