How does the game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme Nothing Can go Wrong, because nothing can, or you will die alone on a planet leaving nothing but a legacy of corn farming.

We Made All code and assets from scratch - except for the sound FX

Really fun game, the planting & harvesting just scratches that itch very well!
One thing that could maybe be improved is that it wasn't really clear to me what the difference in seeds was (not even sure now if there was a difference), might be cool if one is better for shooting, but another has a bigger yield when planting?
Thanks Foenixix! The intention was the seeds would have a range of different perks, at the current time the harvest value of the red seeds is more and blue seeds is the greatest, we ran out of time to implement the shooting fx of the different seeds but are going to work to add that to the game soon! Loved this game :D I played all the way til the end. Can't resist a harvest themed game with aliens! Everything was great :3
I love this concept for a game, it was pretty challenging though. I would change the mouse wheel to something else, cause it didn't work that well for me

The game reminded me a little of Stardew Valley. I ended up planting very little corn after all. I was happy to be able to reload and shoot at the same time!
The little aliens are so cute. Maybe there could be a big last boss?

The game felt really good. It had a good slice of life. The art style was consistent, and I quite enjoyed it. The game has polish, the sound effects were good. The game has potential to be even better, given more time. Would love to see even more of the game. I will give my feedback in the post you have made.
was a real nice styled game with a unique trade off mechanic with your ammo which is also your resources to leave, it felt fun to play and honestly worked really well.
The trade-off between planting and shooting enemies with the seeds is a nice mechanic - simple enough to understand yet not complicated enough that it distracts from the immediacy of the enemy threat. The only issue I had was because I'm left handed so I had no good way to spam the plant button while trying to avoid the critters attacking me.
I survived and had a bunch of fun with this one! Very interesting gameplay loop. I wished the enemies were more threatening in a meaningful way, because I found myself juke-ing them, instead of shooting. Nicely done overall!
Superb execution! I love the dual usage of seeds for shooting vs planting. The narrative, the art, and the mechanism serves each other perfectly. It's an addicting game and I had a lot of fun. Great job!
Great game, cool concept, maybe kinda like a rouge-like + farming game. the art is very cute and the SFX is great but I don't see how this fits well with the theme. The sucking felt great but you definitely could use some more polish with the shooting.

A good polished game. Visuals and animations are really good and I like the twist. The only thing that I wish would be to effect more than one target with one seed but other than that good job.

Thanks for playing! We intended to have some narrative like "Harvesting crops on an alien infested planet with impending solar winter, im sure nothing can go wrong!" but never got around to it, we submitted the game in the last 47 seconds because the build wasnt done until the last minute, we almost didnt make the jam haha xD
That was a very cute and fun game! I love the blending of different genres, it felt like I was playing Stardew valley as a tower defense simulator haha! Art and audio was very well and I felt extremely immersed. I'm proud to say that I survived all the way until the end!

Really cool idea and art style! I was especially going around figuring out what each seed did. I wanted to try to brute-force farming and harvesting whilst avoiding the enemies, but everything went wrong and I got surrounded by them instead! Amazing game!
