HAHA I loved it when the bride transformed and you get to dodge the fireballs, awesome idea!

This is a very unique and interesting game! Maybe a bit too hard for me though. If you plan to continue developing this game after the jam period, I think it'd be great if it started out easy, and then ramped up in difficulty as time went by. The collisions were a bit janky at times and I think at some point, I could take a new vase without being near the stand. I'm not sure how to recreate that bug though. I really like the concept and the idea that the bride turned into bridezilla when she got too angry. I also really liked that it wasn't just an automatic game over once she turned, and that if you survived long enough, she would turn back. Good job!

Thank you so much for playing :D yeah for sure there is a lot of jank haha, when we squashed some bugs, 5 more would appear! So a lot of work to do :3 Really glad you liked the idea :)

Youre welcome! You did the best you could with what time you had.

Very fun game! The concept is very funny and fits the theme quite well! The bride turning into Godzilla from being angry at her disastrous wedding is a really funny concept! The only criticisms I have are that the game is slightly too difficult and the walking controls are kinda strange. Given how chaotic everything at the wedding is, I think a more standard movement scheme would balance the gameplay a bit. The game is very fun though and the idea is very clever. Great job!

Developer

Thank you for playing and your feedback!

Its actually pretty funny! The controls are a little bit messy but i had fun with it. Good job

Developer

Thanks for playing! yeah controls definitely takes a Lil while to get used to

This is really clever, I like it alot. However, please put a tutorial! Having to try to read the description and play the game is a bit annoying. Also not a big fan of the movement controls

Developer

thanks for playing! yeah ran out of time unfortunately. we over scoped a bit and yeah gets a bit to get used to the movement, I personally just press w to move and then mouse point to where i wanna go. thank you for your feedback.

Very nice game!

My bride ate me! Happens all the time! :)

I had a bad start because I did not understand that I had to type the text in the bubble, and the first time I tried, I failed because it was case sensitive. At the end I had a bug with the game over sounds that loops in a weird way (sounds are stacking).

I played many times, and I managed to get like 4 typing games, but the DJ is a mess and caused me to be sacrificed ^^.

I would add a dash at some point to get to the tasks faster.

Developer

thanks for playing! oh yeah I thought i had fixed it but didnt have much time to test it properly, basically whats happen is that the game over screen pops up but bridezilla is still active so keeps attacking the player which causes the gameover and sound effect to play again jaja. Thanks for the feedback, even though she gets angry you can outrun her! and survive until she calms down again!

The fact the bride transform into a zilla made me laugh ! I struggled a bit with the control but but on the whole it's a good game, well done you two !

Developer

thank you for playing and for your comment!

Lol that made me laugh! xD

Nice little game, the movement is weird but it works surprisingly well!

Please try out our game as well if you have time!

What a nervous bride... I've never been able to please her.

Developer

thanks for playing! you just have to run away until she cools off!

Don't make the bride angry on her own wedding :-) Good one.

thanks for playing!

That was very funny!

thanks for playing :)

Really cool game! I find it so funny that the bride turns into a Godzilla crocodile looking thing. Also, I really like how one of the tasks is dealing with guest complaints by typing out their complaint

thank you :)

This is a very nice idea! I do like the chaotic nature of the game, where you are running from place to place trying to fix problems (and none of that is your fault). It is surely quite a fun game! I need to admit that I was not able to survive the game even once, one of the best attempts had me losing the game at around 0:30 which made me really sad. At least I got to see that jump-kill animation though.

For some criticism I'd say the balancing is a bit off, especially given that all problem stacks with each other, it's basically a game over if you even messed up a single problem. I would also point out that the W and S keys moving the character towards and away from the cursor feels quite unnatural to me, and a little bit unyieldy. Not sure why it's designed this way but I think a more traditional input theme would fit better in this already chaotic game.

Anyway, you still have created a nice game, and I think it's pretty nice. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing!! and your comment! dang at 30 seconds, you almost had it! yeah i understand about balancing, we overscoped a bit so we didnt spend much time on balancing, I was worried it would be too easy and people wouldnt get to see the bridezilla in action, and since im the dev I know how to dodge her easily enough *spoiler alert* you just need to move in like a circle to dodge the fireballs, once she jumps you turn back and continue in a circle *end of spoiler*

Yeah the input i do admit is quite unusual because i wanted to go the non traditional route. Takes a lil time to get used too but yeah most people are only playing it for a lil time.  Personally i dont even use the S key, just W.

Thank you for the kind words :)

Bridezilla ate me :(
Very nice idea !!! People already said it I think but I was a bit confused about using the mouse to move. Great work !!

Developer

Thanks for playing! yeah it does get a while to get used to but after that bridezilla won't be able to eat you again xD no matter how angry she gets

Love the idea for the game, and think it really works with the theme, I had some problems with the interactions but didn't stop me from enjoying the game

Very cool idea, it fits the theme very much :D

I like the different kind of playstyles you have in the two different parts of the game :D

Keep up the good work :)

Developer

Thanks for playing and your comment!

Great match with the theme! Had fun trying to figure out how to placate the bridezilla, the models fit well with the way the player moves!

Had some difficulty figuring out the vase, kept running into other things and having it dissapear, took a bit to realize need to go directly to a free space in the table. Love the transformation and leap!

Great work, was a fun play!

Developer

Thanks for playing! and your comment! glad you were able to realize that in the end :D

Loved the concept, I feel like it really fits the theme :)

It's a funny idea that the bride becomes Godzilla.
