Very cute game, I love the atmosphere! Controls were intuitive and the 'interact' popups were a nice touch. I think a few sound effects could have gone a long way. I did two playthroughs - but wasn't able to find an ingredient/combination that didn't result in a Trash Potion. Can I get some tips?

How does the game fit the theme?
It fits the theme by the potions mechanic. You have to create potions correctly or else everything can go wrong and weird and wacky things happen which can lead to you can lose your shop!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Everything was created for the jam and was created at the start of the jam.

The art is top, its really impresive you did all this in one week, i have to congratule you and good luck in the ranks!
Wow, just an awesome game! The art is amazing, the concept is fun, and the potions aren't too difficult to find. I think this project could go beyond the scope of the jam! Great job. Did you create the music on your own?
Thank you so much for the feedback! Unfortunately I forgot to mention it in the assets section (although it is in the in-game credits) but the music was made by these talented creators :)

Wow, super cute art style and really nice game concept! Finding the different potion combination is fun and experimental even if I often end up with trash potion haha. Great work :D
Nice game, I like the visuals. I like the music too, but it seems like its open source music according to the credits, you should’ve put it in the “What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?” section as well. As others have mentioned, the UI could use some improvements, but overall, great work! I had a lot of fun playing it.
I like the art, but I think you're using a very narrow range of values. There needs to be more contrast in what we're seeing. The text and the world is just difficult to see.
A lot of work here done by one person though, really great job
This game was amazing! The overall vibe is super cozy, reminds me a lot of Animal Crossing, especially the music! The gameplay loop is very fun. I enjoyed figuring out all the recipes and researching the ingredients. The art is really cute and the music is extremely well made! Good job!
The game design is beautiful, and the gameplay is intriguing. The role-playing elements fit perfectly with the game. It's really fun! 🎮✨
This is a really fun game. It's pretty hard initially as you are totally unaware about the potions. But as you keep playing the game gets interesting. The art style is also really cute. The music is also chill and relaxing.
However one small thing that i found was the Annoying UIs. Multiple UI elements can be triggered at the same time and the UI can be closed only using that specific key. This was quite annoying at the start then I got used to it. Refining this would still make the game experience even better.
Overall this is a fantastic game made by a single person. Keep up the great work!
I can tell a lot of love was put into this game in such a short week, awesome job!
This is a really cute game! Love the art, especially the frog. I also enjoyed gathering all the ingredients and brewing the potions, though did have to restart at one point as the dialogue window got stuck open without a way of closing it. Overall a fun game though, great job!
Really nice job. I liked the art and the mechanics of the game. It felt very complete to me for a one week time frame! I feel like the controls were a little unintuitive at times when diving through menus. I wish I could hit escape to exit or cancel actions.
This is a beautiful game! The art is gorgeous, and I feel like you have put in a lot of effort in drawing good-looking assets! Kudos for that! The scope of the game seems very large for a single person in just one week. There are quite a lot of recipes, and all of them have an associated potion and client! That really a lot! it has to be said that it's very well done making all these stuffs and successfully combining them into a working game! The gameplay loop is also nice and fun too.
For some criticism and suggestions, I'd say the input and ui of the game leaves a lot of room for improvement. I think the game will be much better if there are more keyboard controls and possibly ditches mouse input altogether. Things like opening and closing dialogue boxes would be better controlled via keyboard controls. Some keys, namely "C" to cancel brewing, don't ever work for me, and it's quite annoying to quit the brewing menu. Speaking of that, the UIs would probably need some love too. For instance, every dialogue/menu should provide a way to close it easily, and no two menus should be shown together at the same time. This kind of UX polish is the polish that will elevate a good game to greatness.
Anyway, with all that said, this is still quite a nice game! Good job!
Nice game! The concept is cool and gameplay was pretty fun. It's sometimes hard to flip through the recipe book, but otherwise everything else is pretty decent. Graphics are very cute and I enjoyed the overall vibe.
Good work!
very cozy and enjoyable game, love brewing up weird combos of things and enjoy discovering something new :D
Cure me with you potion plzz. I love a potion maker game. Haha. Thanks to you good jobs!
I had a really great time figuring out what all the potions do! I noticed that some potions seemed to be unused, like the beauty potion and the fireflies, but I assume this was just due to time constraints. Good job!
