Hi, I want to give some feedback on the art, because I think it's really close to being beautiful

- General: Something about the colors is strange---either perhaps because the sun gives everything an orange wash, or just the base colors in general may be too dark, earthy and natural, especially the green floor. I feel it may be better to push the colors towards brighter, simpler primary colors to give the game a friendlier and comical tone to match the art style.

- Albert: The player's colors throw me off as well. The red/orange color is very ambiguous and is similar to the fences, making the player blend in. It also doesn't look great with his blue shirt. It may be better to try a more obvious red or orange, or go with another strong color altogether

- Stella: I also feel the blue hair/black skin doesn't really match. Her hair might look better as white with light blue highlights, or white with light pink highlights

-Agatha: I mean, yeah she looks like a kaffir lime/cucumber :D She also blends in with the background

-All the characters' eyes are really weird if they naturally look up and behind them, I feel they should look forward at all times

Since colors are relative to its neighbors, fixing one or two may fix the rest naturally

I'm not an artist, so take these suggestions lightly, just some things I noticed. Really nice submission

Hey I really like how you've managed to bring together all these assets to create a nice and complete experience, the game was actually pretty wholesome. Well done

Actually a really cute game. I liked the quirky humor as well, and the changes in the characters after you gift them was a nice touch. Really nice game!

I really like the idea. I kept seeing the same 3 messages though, were there just not enough in the pool or do old messages get deleted? I like it's up to the generosity of others to take the time to write meaningful messages, but it does definitely make it quite risky! Lovely submission

A physics game in a large open world feels so risky but it worked out, really cool to see! The kids playing with the balloon was peak actually, such a nice touch. Wasn't sure if there was an ending as I couldn't get past the storms :( Nonetheless really nice submission!

I really like the art, and the cat riding the broom was a nice touch. Though I often found the cat couldn't keep up and I'd wait for it jump on (when it couldn't) whenever I tried to dash. I wish the controls and movement felt a bit tighter. But really nice game, kudos!

Really like the game and the different interactions you've built. Some sort of movement on the player would've gone a long way, whether it be animations or even a trail. Really nice game though

There's a lot of detail in the art, was it really made in 3 weeks? I'm really impressed. The story was pretty wholesome, I like that the ending was up to the player's imagination. Really cool

Ah, I see now! That's actually a game changer, it makes the game much easier to play

A really interesting and strange game---very bold of you to make it a physics game :D

I do think it may play better in a grid with precise actions, and maybe a way to tell the player how their available actions will change when touching whichever muskoom---though there is charm in rolling them like a hay bale!

Amazing the art was done traditionally, super cool

Really nice design, it really does embody the fungus as one big network. Simple and clean -- nice game! (I'm not convinced that the glitch moon is balanced though!)

Ah, this game could be something special with a bit more dynamic scene and player interaction. Really great start to a wonderful idea

I really like the art style and the music. I wish the gameplay felt better: the jump windup is too dramatic and navigating through the caves felt rough as I'd constantly hit my head on something. Cute game though I always like mouse protagonists

Hey, super nice game. I really like the environment how everything is compact, and not just big open empty space. The colors throw me off a bit and the character feels a tad too floaty, but I enjoyed the experience overall. Really like the companion jump, very cute

I really like the character art and the mini world you created. Core gameplay feels really good as well! Really nice

Yoo this game was really cool! I really like the hand-drawn levels as well, really charming. I really wish there was more

I'm pleasantly surprised at all the interactions you've created. The atmosphere and the narrative work well with each other. Really nice submission!

yoo I like how all the animals get blinged up, they got mad drip

We also both have foxes :O

I really like how the other birds help each other out and occasionally the player as well. It really makes the player feel like they are one part of a whole. Really nice concept

It's a frenzy out there, everyone's rabid for some real estate

Is there a way to rotate the camera? It gets hard to see with the massive garden everyone has created :D

Brilliant concept, nice job!

Hey I really like what you have so far, it's really unfortunate you couldn't work on it more. The character art works surprisingly well, super cool

Oh my god this game is so funny! I just had to see all the variations of passing and failing. I liked the train where there were multiple options as well. I love that it pokes fun of the social expectations, and I can totally feel that personal cost!

love all the different ideas, super charming and relatable

Hey, I get a black screen when I try to play this game, on Radeon Vega 64 :(

Do the items in the delivery box get wiped on the new day? Was I supposed to keep them in the chest? :D

I got the crash unfortunately. Really like you incorporated all the steps of the forge. I think the customer arrive notifications need to be louder/more noticeable as I'm just relying on the game log for those.

Nice job though, gets a bit hectic!

Aw, I wish there was more. Nice start to the game, the world and atmosphere so far is quite nice

Congrats on making your first game! Love the quirkiness and the charm. The tree and the flowers were hard to notice as interactables. Love me a cat game, nice job

I really like the art direction and the tech for growing the plants was done really well. Really cool

Really like the music and art, nice job!

The pictures of the cats at the end made my day :D

One thing was I thought the crickets/cicadas were too loud

Liked the little puzzles, nice game!

Hey, I really like the overall presentation. The only things I would change are making the gold counter easier to see, and possibly simplifying the text with icons and/or keywords. Very unique style, great job!

Managed to beat the game in 37 min. The controls were quite difficult, and I kinda wished there were some checkpoints. I wasn't sure what the green spirit did, was it unimplemented? Like the VA touch and the art was pleasant. Nice game!

Hey! Really nice game. The art is charming, though I wish you used a greater range of values to show more contrast. I also understand the rationale behind having a timer/limited actions, but I think it clashes too heavily from the intended direction of the game where you'd want the player to take their time and explore everything this game has to offer. The timer makes me feel very rushed, and the limited actions makes me feel unsatisfied at the end.

Super cute game though, really nice job by everyone

The fish is just a single line with many points. Each point moves towards the previous point

Really like the feel of the thrusters and the weight of the ship. Nice game!

Love the little blobs. The game gets pretty challenging later on!

I think breaking the bridge should've been a different key like right-click. I keep inadvertently destroying the bridges

Nice game!

This game is great, I love when the rocks come down on the sweet spot to send all the animals flying haha

(1 edit)

Nice game! The game's clock seems like it's tied to fps. It gets pretty crazy on 240hz :D I had to bring my monitor down to 60hz to feel normal.

The movement was weird at first but got used to it. I do think the attack's hitbox could be a bit bigger/or the player keeps their momentum when attacking

Love the different slimes

You've captured the ping pong feel really well

I'm surprised the physics is so consistent even though the ball can move quickly and bounce rapidly in tight spaces

Nice job!
