Yeah i totally agree with all u points, the bugs are unfortunate that they made it through. the restarting one being half unitys fault with async scene loading and it not cleaning up the old scene properly or something, im still trying to work that one out and the boss ones on me so really sorry for that anyways.
From an RNG standpoint i get it too, i wish i could have had more time to balance it but then i got worried id end up over doing it or taking too much of the gambling / rng side of the fun away so i really didnt know where to go here.
Overall im glad you enjoyed the game tho, it was a bit over scoped but im glad i managed to make it mostly playable xd
I totally understand, game balance and content are really important and if i had more time i would have hugely expanded on the rogue like content available to make it feel less mindless and more unique each run, but sadly the time frame didnt allow me to get too much of that done. but im glad you enjoyed playing
I can see how some people would find the learning curve difficult but all in all once you get the hang of it and understand the flow, its great, nicely put together with clean vibes and gameplay, the only thing i could complain about is maybe the cards in hand visibility / their threshold for being able to see them and interact, but thats a very minor thing.
overall it came together really nicely :)
