Well, it's hard to rate a multiplayer game if you don't have friends to play with *plays sad music*. Consequently, I can't progress past the area with the button, and unfortunately, there’s no single-player mode. But I'll take your word for it that the multiplayer works as it should—my respect for putting together a working prototype with multiplayer in a week is amazing.

Submitted

I was alone in the room so I wasn't able to play the multiplayer but still, good job on implementing it!

Submitted

Really superb job making a multiplayer!! And the visuals exactly how they needed to be, Amazing!!

good job!!! Keep it up!

Submitted

Like everyone else I'm SO impressed you all got multiplayer going in just a week, and with voice chat. Didn't get to see anyone while I was on, but I'd love to see this in all its glory. Great job everyone

A real multiplayer in 1 week? Very impressed!

Didn't have a chance to play with more players yet, will come back later.

For now, I already in love the visual. Movement is fluid and smooth, can't wait for a tense and may be comedic tag game in the future!

Developer

Thanks! I made all the networking stuff, took me 2 days to make the basic library, but it can certainly do better than it currently does. I hope you have fun with your friends :D

Haven't rated yet. How to press red button?

Developer

Click it with your mouse button, also, when you are the demon click players to eat them

Submitted

Do this button requires players to press?

Developer

Yes it does, atleast 2

Submitted

Oh, I  was solo :)

MULTIPLAYER??? What?

Good visuals and good atmosphere, but I wish you could opt out of voice chat

Developer

Good idea! We will add that after the jam!

Multiplayer!!! How'd you do this in a week!

(+1)

A lot of hard work and effort... It's also an entirely custom networking system, made just for the game

Submitted (1 edit)

That is insane! Well done!

Submitted

A REAL multiplayer game done in a week the hard way. Should win just for that accomplishment

Submitted

This is so sick - I'm gonna try to get some of my friends to hop on for a round

I wasn't able to find a public server but I had a wander around solo. It's awesome that you got a multiplayer game up and running for a jam!

Developer

I'm open to play if you want, or you can invite some friends!

SUPER COOL VISUALS! Imagine summoning a demon, my friends are stupid.

Submitted

Very cool multiplayer game! nice job!

Submitted

Nice one! Too bad i cant play with friends right now!

Submitted(+1)

Damn, I'm a frustrated demon ! A nice version of hide and seek ! :D It would maybe benefit from a way to force players to move from their hideouts or locate them if the demon really struggles ^^ But it's honestly amazing what you managed to do in seven days !

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the review! We will be adding a way to force players to move and player footsteps after the jam!

(+1)

Thanks :D We plan on adding a way for the demon to hopefully track players, but didn't have time to implement it.  The feedback is much appreciated!
(btw, I saw you in the last round between some houses near the start lol)

Nice job for the multi ! The launch screen has intrigued me ! I however unfortunately did not understand what i had to do :'(. I was alone in a room ! I found later the guide on the game page, i'll try it later with friends ;)

Developer(+1)

Sorry about that! We have a tutorial in-game soon!

I've never seen a multiplayer game in jams. It's a really cool idea. My respect as a programmer is that the developer has created his own network system with voice chat. I have a light sensor on/off button in the microphone, but when the chat is activated, the microphone activates, it was fun.

(+1)

Thanks! Most of the networking was done by  NonzeroCornet34. It was a pain, but in the end it works!

I am tired.

I loved the idea behind this game! Actually it's pretty creepy but somehow nostalgic, of course you need people to play with, seems really fun if you have a full group!

Thanks, we had multiple late nights grinding development (I was up at 2 AM more then once), appreciate your feedback!

very cool game no bias whatsoever
