Cool game, I like the movement and the concept but it needs a few checkpoints ahah, I really struggled at first

Appreciate the pun work lol The controls felt tight, though the difficultly ramps up a little too quick when you get the dash shoes, however the game did have some nice polish to it and I liked the meta narrative around playtesting. Great work!
Man, this game works amazingly, I loved how the controls respond well, the hand and player animations are excellent. Congratulations 😁
A decent game, loved the visuals and the hand doing a bunch of lil animations. As others have said though, damn the first level was difficult lmao but besides that the controls were okay and game was good! :D
Nice game, I like the visuals and the idea, but the first level was way too difficult, you may have already, but make sure to get people who did not work on the game to playtest, because I find when I playtest my own game, I am always think its much easier than it is. I managed to get used to the controls though, but I couldnt make it pst the stage with the green things, nice concept though, it definately has potential, keep it up!
Like many here I am a bit bummed I couldn't get further than the jump/dash section :(
The game has great potential and up till then everything seemed working flawlessly.
Nice game concept, loved the visuals, the talking hand is perfect. Wall holding was a little finicky, which made upward movement difficult. Fun game, great job!
Never liked platformers, simply because I don't know how to play them.
And I thought that I am bad in platformers. I see that other people had the same issue with that part where player get's the shoes. Even I was stuck I wanted to continue, because this game has a massive potential. Loved that hand was helping me all the time, but at the same time I was a bit suspicious about it. There is something wrong!
Awesome game! Really well polished and the hand helping you out was a cool idea!
A really great game with smooth controls and a good amount of polishing. The music fits perfectly :)
However, the first level - jump/dash-section - is way too hard, I had to give up after 7 minutes of retrying. That was very frustrating, specially because I really want to play the rest of the game.
Great submission! :)
Great level design although the first level is way too hard for a game jam game (make sure to playtest) but the handy was a "handy" feature and it was a nice take on checkpoints. Nice game overall.
If you wouldn't mind could you rate mine?
This game is extremely hard! :D And hey, music from Kim Lightyear, i love her tracks! I also liked the hand guiding you. I wish though, the difficulty curve would not be that steep so i could play more, i suck at these games 🤣
Game looks nice and a funny idea with the hand. Unfortunately I could not play much of the game as the difficulty ramps up too quickly. I was not able to get past the jelly like walls right after getting double jump.
My advice would be to ramp up the difficulty a bit slower so you can get accustomed to the dash/double jump combos you sometimes need. For example, first let the player double jump some easy gaps, then jump + dash, double jump + dash, followed by a single time you need to clamp to the wall dash from it and jump up (like the thing you have to do right after unlocking double jump)…
Good entry to the jam, nice job.
Game feels good and polished. I like it. And having a giant hand guide you through is a nice touch :) Well done!
It seems like an ok game. Stopped after a few minutes after getting to the jumping puzzle after unlocking double jump so can't comment on the rest of the game (these kinds of games just aren't my jam).
