How does the game fit the theme?
Playing videogames during work hours sounds risky but nothing can go wrong if you're careful, right? RIGHT?!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Like the funny aspect of it, though it seems you could just use the cursor to press the buttons instead of dragging the mouse no? Maybe it'd be too easy but I guess actually holding the mouse and plonking it on a button adds to the absurdity lmao
Fun experience :D
I had a bit of trouble figuring things out initially, but eventually I hit a good rhythm with the switches. Good concept!
Amazing concept ! The only 2 issues I would have with it is that depending on the mouse sensitivity the handling of the mouse can be a bit unwieldy at first, and when touching a red square the snake's head is positioned just after the red cube following the current direction. In my memories that's not what happens in Snake, and if the red cube is in a corner that means game over.
And the game becomes a bit boring after a while once we figure out the whole thing. But what really matters is the initial funny concept, once again a great idea and good execution !
I really like the game! The concept is really funny and the use of the theme with it has some nice comedic charm to it! The controls are also a really nice touch!
Glad you enjoyed it!
You basically made 2 different games for one jam! Hahaha absolutely incredible.
Loved how the cans are my lives, and pausing and switching screens right as I hear footsteps felt very intense and was extremely fun! Especially with how she kept coming into the room from random places 😂
High quality submission right here! Absolutely one of my favorites, really impressed with how much you were able to do in a week!
Glad you liked it! We made the boss lady come from all over the place to make it less predictable.
I could spend hours on this! Feels like I'm really in the office, very nerve-wracking. Great concept, creative gameplay! I really like simple but addicting game like this.
Glad you had fun!
This was a really cool gameplay mechanic! Having to actually pick up the mouse and press the physical buttons made it feel immersive! The cans being your lives were also pretty interesting of an idea. Overall a decent and funny game!
Thanks for feedback, glad you enjoyed those gameplay mechanics!
this is cool!! I can't stop playing, its so addictive, is just simple snake but with the same stress i have when working! Good job!
Thanks for your feedback, glad you found stressful work so enjoyable!
Interesting concept two games in 1 I liked it :D
Glad you had fun!
Pretty fun game, Im loving how cans is your lives. And that button panel (aka protagonists`keyboard)
Thx for the game
Thanks for feedback, those cans were a stroke of inspiration at like 6AM after whole night of working on the game haha
10/10 for hot mistress!
Really love your controls solution, made me laguht xD
And pretty acurate to life!
Glad you had fun with controls and the boss lady!
Nostalgic gameplay! Intentional clunky and hillarious control makes this game engaging and challenging! My highscore is only 8 tho :( Good audio design.
Thanks for feedback, glad you enjoyed wackiness behind controls, 8 is still a nice score, mine highscore was around 5 xD
Funny game I Like it !
Glad you had fun!
A unique take on snake.
Banging my mouse on huge ass buttons isn't how I usually play snake.
I didn't understand what to do when boss lady came. I tried switching screen/ keeping mouse down. But it didn't seem to work.
Thanks for your feedback, when the boss lady comes in you need to switch screen to color panel and change colors on top to match ones on the bottom.
The experience of doing nothing in the workplace comes with time. My colleagues and I used to play Quake 3, not just snake :3
I see that we are dealing with a pro here haha
Very fun idea! But the mouse sensitivity makes it a bit uncomfortable to play. uou should have created a deadzone for mouse, so if my mouse exits deadzone - mouse in game doesn't move. Otherwise it moves with my mouse position.
Thanks for feedback, there actually is a deadzone, it's just bigger than it has to be beacuse we hoped to fill that space with other interactive objects but haven't managed to do it in time limit.
Still you managed to create very good mechanic.
So fun to play, you nailed this feeling of guilty anguish some of us know too well :')
The controls are reponsive and satisfying, the graphics and sound design are neat, well done ! :)
Glad you enjoyed it, even more so that you found the experience relatable, thanks for your feedback!
Thanks to this little game i will never see footsteps the same way ever again... But honestly great work as it really feels like trying to make a stressful work day less stressful but ultimately making it even more stressful due to this.
Stressful seems to be the core word of your experience, hope there was some fun there too, thanks for playing!
Yes it was very fun just like a rollercoaster can be stressful but fun at the same time i think it works well in this setting at least.
Glad to hear that!
Very good concept! I wasn't sure what to do at first. Maybe a tutorial would help! The can life system was really unique though!
Glad you enjoyed the cans!
The concept is very good, but in the start it was difficult to understand the button system. But superbly executed.
Good work!!🙌🙌
Thanks for feedback, we will try to update the game with some sort of tutorial intro!
