I'm begging you, please resume this project after the jam and add new levels, it is criminal to only have 7 short levels for such a brilliant idea !!

You might also wanna raise the music's volume a little bit. The overall presentation is great, movement is simple and smooth, it's really pleasant to play and once again I would love to see more of it !

A great short old-school point'n click horror game ! Take no offense, but I tried to finish it as quickly as possible, precisely because I was getting spooked ^^' The only criticism I would have is that the bad ending screamer could be better, especially compared to how good the outside cam reveals are. Speaking of ending, I tried a second time but got the bad ending again, if you could make a video of the whole game including the other endings or just give some hints I'd love to check it out !

One of my favourite submissions so far ! The concept is funny and fitting, the custom art is nice, the gameplay mechanics simple and sufficient for a short game. The only issue would be the repetitive footstep sound effects. Other than that, congrats !

Amazing concept ! The only 2 issues I would have with it is that depending on the mouse sensitivity the handling of the mouse can be a bit unwieldy at first, and when touching a red square the snake's head is positioned just after the red cube following the current direction. In my memories that's not what happens in Snake, and if the red cube is in a corner that means game over.

And the game becomes a bit boring after a while once we figure out the whole thing. But what really matters is the initial funny concept, once again a great idea and good execution !

Hi, the gravity switching concept is nice but unfortunately I found the activation and deactivation of this feature to be unclear and unreliable, it would be great if you could update the game and add some UI or feedback that indicates gravity can be switched.

Also there's a potential trigger issue, during level 4 (which is actually level 3 I think) after failing towards the start I somehow got sent to another level.

Oh and I just read on your profile that you're just 11 - if that's true big congrats on doing this in a week at your age !

Hi, I have several issues to report.

-First, there's a typo in the title, you wrote "Wondering knight" with an "o" instead of an "a" in the title screen and app file.

-Lateral movement when in the air is too high, pressing the left or right key once when falling or jumping causes a big lateral push.

-There seems to be blurry jitter on the player character when the camera follows him. You might wanna experiment with your character and camera updating, and maybe try all combinations of Update/FixedUpdate/LateUpdate.

-Jumping often does not trigger as expected, it seems that it has a cooldown whereas we're expecting to be able to spam jump in most plaftormers, and it apparently tends not to trigger when moving laterally

-I don't see any clear connection to the theme "Nothing can go wrong".

Despite all of this, you still made and published what seems to be your first project on itch, so this is definitely a start ! Good luck on your journey.

PEEEEENGUINS !!! I'm so fond of these birds <3

Unfortunately I have to agree with the people in the comments, I had a hard time understanding the objective, this definitely deserves a post-jam update, because I otherwise love this simple lab and aquarium setting, the penguins and the music !

Thank you very much ! I'm glad you enjoyed the no turning left concept. For the record the car damage feature comes from Realistic Car Controller Pro, I did not write the code for that. Thank you again and I'll check your game when I have the time :)

Thank you very much ! To tell the truth the car controls are using the default parameters from Realistic Car Controller Pro, I did not tweak any of them due to time constraints. Other level design and gameplay features around the no turning left restrictions weren't explored for the same reason. Thank you again and glad you liked it, I'll take a look at your game tomorrow ;)

If this is your first game then honestly congratulations on making this, I mean it ! Good luck on your game dev journey :)

Hi, thanks for playing and giving your thoughts ! You can thank Realistic Car Controller Pro for the whole vehicle part !

I forgot to mention the bug with characters somehow acting as solid obstacle, I'll add that and see if I can fix it.

I'm taking note that you found the no turning left restriction harmful to the gameplay, thank you for your honesty, and glad you enjoyed the game nonetheless ^^

Hello, sorry I did not have the patience to finish your games, I was just backtracking in big black corridors with a giant axe in hand, not knowing where I had to go, and only hearing the character's footsteps all the time.

I do like the black and white art, but the main character's sprites don't match with the environment.

The concept of a dungeon where the enemies can't hurt you and you can just focus on a Dark Souls like story is interesting, but to be honest I didn't feel invested in it nor understand everything.

3 bugs I have to report : -Pressing the E key multiple times can make appear the same dialogue boxes multiple times.

-The player character has inconsistent orientation, if for example you start holding the Up key, then switch to Right and then back to Up, he will stay oriented towards the right and instead of upward.

-During my first try I got stuck by that enemy for some reason, was that expected ?

Sorry if that's a lot of negative points, but I just want to help by giving my honest opinion. If you can upload a walkthrough video I'd watch it !

Hey, I tried clicking a piano key twice and got the Terminator 2 explosion scene each time, also when clicking on the rules button, is that normal ? You should include the option to skip the opening cutscene if you players to try several times.

Hi, glad you like the idea ! At the moment there are only 2 ways to go left, either reversing or drifting using the Space key or South button on controller - I should mention that in the page ! Increasing the base turn value would be one way of helping make 180 and 270 spins but would also affect standard driving to the right, but I could definitely play with the brake and drifting parameters to increase the rotation gained in this situation !

I reached some sort of shelter with a red light and buttons on the front but couldn't interact with them, there was only a dead end behind. I then started a new game, and at some point just read "You died" when some loud monster scream sfx was played, never saw my attacker :0 Sorry but I really didn't feel like trying again, there was some potential though with the nocturnal forest exploration in UE.

Short and quick, funny, great visuals and audio, and a daring take on the theme  - this was worth giving a try and likely one of the best submissions, congrats :)

Hi yes exactly, I had to retry putting some objects onto their spots several times.

Hello, I'm sorry but I did not like your game and quit it after 5 minutes. The platforming is very clunky and frustrating, and too dependent on the character's momentum. Hope this feedback helps nonetheless, and better luck on your future projects !

Hi, I don't think your game is really great, but you deserve congrats for making an adventure game within a week. The biggest issue in my opinion is the contrast between the dramatic theme (a father looking for his missing child) and the dialogues and graphics - characters feel verbally and graphically inexpressive despite the serious thing that's going on.

The gameplay is minimalistic but that's not an issue in my opinion. I don't know if I'm the only one in this case, but during sequences where you have to drag objects into their respective slots I often had to retry dragging some of them before they would be put in.

Hope this feedback helps, and good luck on your future works !

Thank you very much for playing it ! The buggy can indeed be a bit annoying to get unstuck when hitting walls sometime, maybe I should play with RCC's parameters and see if there's a way to prevent that.

Thank you Hee-Hoo, glad you liked it :)

Hi, sorry but I can please ask you to be a bit more specific ? Did it feel like running at something like 30fps ? And what are your pc specs ? If this game has performance issues - and I'm willing to believe it has some - I'd like to know how bad they are.

Hi Lazdog, first of all thank you for giving it a try. Could you tell me at how many frames you were averaging at, even if it is just an estimate ? And what your configs are ? Lastly, did you try selecting the Low option on the dropdown in the title screen ? It would be really helpful if you could answer all that, thanks.
