I personally loved the ui and main menu! Good use of using the screen monitors as button holders. Only main issue i faced was screen sizing issues though since even in fullscreen mode like 20% of the game still got cut off so that made it slightly harder to play. Not bad though overall!

very cool game had fun with it

Had a great time playing! Very clean art and animations that works well for the style of the game, and the music is awesome! Great work!

Pretty cool. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to type the word as fast as possible, or if I had to time the letters just so. Mostly I just mashed keys quickly.

Loved the speedy intro and creative main menu.
Id really like to start at 50% volum or 75% maybe, but thats super minor.

When starting through the tutorial, i got stuck in the next level with nothing interactable? So i had to restart once.

Loved the little dialogs and the sound design!
Otherwise the gameplay is pretty fun and gets more complicated pretty fast, liked the pacing.
Very fun entry, well done!

I think the speed of the text at the beginning scene is quite slow, it may keep some of the players who aren't really patient from the game! I love the visual and the audio, it's well done and support the atmosphere of the game, although the gameplay is quite confusing at the first time I play it. After I got use to it, it's very addictive!

Love the soundtrack! Audio design is very professional, the transition between track felt really smooth!

Gameplay is tense and stressful (in a good way), but it would be better if there are hotkeys for the module. Having to switch between mouse and keyboard felt frustrated, especially during those last levels.

Overall, a solid and polished title! Agree with your view on the abusive usage of AI!

The audio and animations were amazing! I loved it.

A very well polished game! The music is great and the background audio of the factory really adds to the overall vibe of the game! One thing I would suggest would maybe have the writing prompts be different for each task instead of having the same one for the entire level but overall, it was a very fun game!

I like the genre (idk how it's called, like rythm games or something), the idea's also pretty good. What I noticed is that each level the same sequence was always used, making the game way too easy. Visuals and music are good also , nice job !

Nice, Great audio, I would say that the game needs to be controlled only by the keyboard, instead of clicking make the player press a number from 1 to 3 or 4 and that triggers the repair, also in my monitor the game was overflowing so I could't see the time left (1600:900). Overall a good idea for a game, the game was more of a rithm type of game, but I'm more of fast paced kind of games, so I would loved that the keys could be pressed at any speed (personal preference)

Cool game! Really good job on the animations and menus! I'm normally not very good at keyboard prompts but it got alot better when I realized they were words lol. Great idea!

Thanks for review, btw did you catch that in dialogues there was guide on what word you should type ? 😆

Submitted

Lol, yeah that's how I realized it was a word lol , Thanks for writing that in!

Liked it! This had me desperately looking for the right keys, simple but fun!

Developer

Thank you for review 👍

Cool idea, but having to constantly switch from clicking to typing kept throwing me off.

Thank you for review, yeah to was one thing which was question for future, we planned some more UI items which player could use, but well time got us 😆

Nice Game. Some elements clipped through my screen probably some UI scaling issue (I played on fullscreen)

The tutorial helped!

Even though you have included a tutorial, I think making the modules be slightly highlighted when they are hovered would help.

Developer

Right that would be nice touch 👌, Thank you for review.

Pretty nice typing game. Thx)

Developer

Thanks, for rating 😄

A game like this has a ton of potential to be used as an educational game for blind-typing. It took me way to long to realise that you actually type existing words haha

I only found it quite annoying that you have to move from your mouse and keyboard back-and-forth. Unless you type with one hand of course, but I found that to be even more difficult. Perhaps the expected keystrokes could automatically popup? Just a suggestion, perhaps there an even better way to handle this.

Anyway, great work guys. Bonus points for volume sliders! <3

Yeah the switching between keyboard and mouse was for later things, sadly ran out of time. The words btw the clue on what to type in level was in the dialogue on the level start :D

Oh my, I feel so stupid lol That makes so much sense haha :D

Great idea for the theme, and the dialogue is well thought out. I like the buttons being the screens on the monitors and the little animation when starting is cool. But holy fuck that explosion sound was loud haha

Some criticism:

  • I like that theres different parts that you have to fix, all with different art. I don't think its utilised to the max though considering the only difference I noticed atleast is that they have different durabilities.
  • The timing factor of pressing the keys is a good idea, but I'm not sure if its shown in the best way. In a game like OSU, which I don't really play but I think its comparable, the orbs have trails between them briefly to show the order. There is also a rythm to the key presses instead of relying entirely on the visual indicator. The actual typing of the word is really easy, its trying to find the next orb with your eyes and only press when its in the range that is hard. Perhaps the indicator itself could be more clear, like with more distinct colors (e.g red then turning green)
  • If you fail a word, it doesn't immediately stop. This means that even if you do the first key wrong, you have to wait through the whole sequence even if you bother doing the remaining keys.
  • One thing that I think would GREATLY improve this experience is considering that this is a typing game, why do I use a mouse to click on the machine parts! It would be so much better if for example the number keys were used for each one (with a label for each to make it clear). Having to use my hand to use the mouse, then quickly place it back on the keyboard just feels a bit weird.

And some things I like:

  • The dialogue is really clever how it shows you the word before hand. Although I feel like there could be variation with the word for each level, I see that you did the chain word sequences for variety and difficulty which I like.
  • All the little animations at the bottom of the screen, the background, etc. The game is just nice and interesting to look at.
  • The game saves. And loads. Awesome. And you can make coffee in the main menu

Thanks for comment :D Yeah almost everything you said it was potentially on list of fixing and improvements in future XD, but the time :D, the switching between clicking and typing we have it there because was planning on adding some more features for clicking :D and btw someone finally clicked on coffemachine XD
