You know I've tried to play this but I'm not a fan of visual novels whatsoever. It's just not my genre, sorry.
As for technical side, I think you should have added a sound for a click or something. This way it would feel more immersive.

Never thought I will get to play a visual novel in a game jam!
A like the romanse you built through out the dialogs and music. And a like the photo taking part, thats a great way to tell story.
What I only want is to try out the other ending.
Good job guys
Nice sketch btw
That was my first time playing a visual novel game. I found it interesting, nice story, specially that it was done in a week. The music is great and fits the story very well. I think it is a nice game. I like the idea of the mini games. I didn't play to the end but I wonder if the minigames would get harder as you repeat them like cooking a much harder meal without instructions or with a limited amount of time. I think it a great entry well done
In general, I'm not much of a visual novelist. And English is not my native language, so it was hard for me to appreciate all the twists and turns of the plot. But I honestly tried to play.
As someone who likes to play visual novel, this is very interesting! The story writing is great, especially since it is done in a week! There are a lot of minigames that make it more engaging. I like the music, very pleasant and fitting for the story!
Would be nice to have the choices look different than the normal dialog, maybe changing the position or changing the color or adding outlines. At a glance, it could be mistaken for normal dialog and not choices. Also, I accidentally clicked on a choice by reflex when trying to proceed the dialog. The time transition ('The Next Morning', 'After a Few Days') is a bit too long, I felt impatient waiting for the fade animation.
I like how you let the player know what items can be interacted, even though it's just a box (like in the cooking minigame). If you want to continue the game, maybe glowing outline like the diary would be a better idea. This is already great though, since there are some games in the jam that forgot to add this part.
Overall, this is impressive, good job!
Very cool idea! The audio, visual and story fit the game very well! Also there is a bug, when you need to take a photo of horse, it says take a photo of duck :)
Nice little game! Honestly there isn't much for me to say as I don't play many of these types of games, I enjoyed the story and the mini-games went a long way to helping it feel more interactive. Good job!
Nice art and sfx! I can see the work you put in this game. I would love if you have added audio options so i can be able to adjust the volume.
Loved the story, Great drawing, the music was perfect.
Great work.
This was a lovely game! All the art was really nice and the story was also good! Nice job!
- The music is cute and fits well.
- The art was really nice.
- The cooking game was fun.
- The diary feature & mini games were a great addition and made the game feel more interactive.
- The overall vibe was cozy and inviting.
Suggestions:
- In the cooking mini-game, I would have preferred the items to glow or have an outline when hovered instead of the box that appears over them. Something like how the diary glows on the desk (but without the square) would feel more natural.
- The yellow pages of the diary are really bright and hurt my eyes a bit. Toning it down or using a different shade would help while keeping the design intact.
- It would be nice to go back a page in the diary instead of only moving forward.
- Seeing the photos from the photo mini-game appear in the diary would be a great touch.
- I’d suggest narrowing down the fonts. Having something unique for the diary and its cover makes sense, but using one consistent font for things like "The Next Day" and dialogue would make it feel more cohesive.
- A general suggestion I give to most games: adding audio options so players can adjust volume would be really helpful.
Overall, it's clear a lot of work went into this in the short amount of time, good job!
Cute game and nice story, also the drawings are cute, well done!
This felt like a fever dream, jk, this was great! tho a little bit confusing for me but great!
I loved the artsyle, and tbh its impresive that this was done on 7 days.

Can I not?!! I've read too many horror stories about trains.
Demon appears
Aw hell no. I don't even know this gurl.
Runs from the demon
I lost my diary once when I was in high school. I had cringy poetry and wrote entries about my crush. I wanted the world to swallow me when I lost it. Classmate found and returned it to me the next school day.
Playing this game brought me back to that moment. Agree with the previous comment. This game was an emotional rollercoaster to play. The mini-games were fun (e.g. cooking a meal, taking pictures) and wished there were more of them.
This is a good game, although, I wished Mika was more wary of strangers 〣( ºΔº )〣(But maybe I'm saying this because I had bad experiences with strangers..)
An emotional rollercoaster from start to finish! Impressive script for only having 7 days.
A nice game. Not my cup of tea, it hadn't a lot of gameplay, but it was very interesting to follow the story. It would be fun if I could interact with everything on the table (play "snake" on the phone) but it would not affect the story though. The only "useful" interaction would still be reading diary.
