Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked it!

Hey! Thanks for playing our game!

Our Artist "Kai Liung" was very thoughtful with her design and how she laid things in foreground and background. I played around with the light to increase the immersion as much as I could. "Deemio" found the BGM. (Click to open link)

I'm glad you enjoyed our game.

As for the promotions, I have been quite busy so haven't been very active.
I am mostly posting the game in Streaming/Video Threads where I can see people play the game and Some feedback threads where the OP is actually going through the game and leaving valuable feedback.

I have had experience in the past where people (From Rate 4 Rate Threads) rated my game just to have theirs rated and their feedback was very generic. Almost like they didn't even play it. Maybe the game genre wasn't something they preferred but they felt kinda pressured to play/rate it anyways. And since this time I am also busy, I am avoiding Rate 4 Rate Threads altogether.

You could say this is like an experiment. And tbh I am liking this way better. Having 8 ratings with people leaving some valuable feedback/their experience than having 100 ratings and generic comments is turning out to be more fulfilling.

Hey! Would love some feedback on our game!

Thanks for playing! We were actually gonna have an ending but couldn't decide the ending in time so it just stayed as a "try to survive the journey". " record game with a loop to see who survives the longest" seems like a fun thing to try. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thank you for playing and for the words of encouragement!

Would love for you to try our game

Glad you enjoyed. We had plans for more mini-games but could couldn't find a way to incorporate them into the story in time.

Thanks for playing it on stream!

Would love to see you play our game!

Deemio and Kai had the whole story mapped out. Only a part of that made it into the actual game due to various constraints. Glad you enjoyed it!

Hello!

I have a basic plan for a game that I want to make and need help with the visuals and music. The game I'm planning is kinda like a 2D turn based game.

Art style reference (Non-Pixel):

The reference is just to give an idea of character art-style I am planning but I am open to suggestions. The art is from a big game and I do not expect such graphics. This is open to people with all experience levels.

Music: Anything you think fits the game. Open to anything.

Note: I might not be able to give a lot of time due to my Job, but I'll try my best to get something out by the end of the Jam.

Hit me up on discord for further details.

Love the concept. Very cool visuals and music.

some personal opinions:

Have a UI to indicate which key represent which color

Allow clicking on sprite to select color instead of  just Q W E

Sometimes I died " You were x% wrong", maybe I am just bad at mixing colors, but i'd like it to be more forgiving. Maybe instead of instadeath you could do something like it heals the enemy or something.

Would love some feedback on our game:

Thank you!

Okay that makes sense. Since it's a downloadable I didn't even visit the game's itch page. That's on me. But good game overall.

The difficulty is high on this.

And I honestly thought powerups not working was a bug until I read the description.

I personally felt this is a good opportunity to inject humor into the game. Like the game is aware that things aren't working and shows texts or dialogues based on that.

Would love for you to try our game:

Thank you for playing! At the moment, the minigames are similar in difficulty.

Thank you for playing!

Cool game. I don't usually play a lot of horror games. I loved the art style and resource managing gameplay in this.

The inventory system took a bit of time to figure out how it works. I would have liked just click items to store them to inventory instead of dragging. Also is there a inventory window to interact with inventory? I found the best was to consume food for example was to go to a cupboard, place food on 1st item slot and them Right mouse click.

Is finding a cupboard necessary? Since its the only way I seemed to be able to get ingame cursor.

Fun game. Nice artstyle!

I expected health regen to heal me slowly throughout but it didn't. So I guess the systems could use a bit more clarity.

Okay wow that was soo good.

A combination of 2D and 3D? that's what i did for one of my scenes.

The ending did leave me asking questions. Would have loved more content.

yes, it was fun

Cool concept. The art looks great but the buttons look like default buttons, maybe change them to make them fit the overall art of the game.

I was struggling in the white rock puzzle at first, because I kept pressing "E" but you have to click. I guess having all actions tied to the same button might help. Or just have "E" as a secondary button to do that puzzle.

Someone already mentioned the candle thing.

Also the 3rd area, with the creatures spawning was a bit too hard, they spawn too close.

Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you for pointing it out! Will fix it after the Jam.
