Thank you so much for all the kind words EgpNoodlez! We haven’t written a story for such a long time, but we wanted to get back into it this year! We tried to tackle themes of escapism, friendship and personal growth and I’m so glad the ending had such an impact.

Thanks Barrelbot! The shader took alot of R&D to mask the 3D world and I’m so glad you enjoyed the results!

Thank you Leotimer! The 60 games was definitely alot of work but I’m pretty happy with the results! And don’t worry, I couldn’t figure out the password the first time my brother showed me either XD

Thank you so much for the kind words Edwin! I’m glad to have made such an impression this year! It’s always fun to surprise Kyle and chat, and we even have a few ideas for next year!

Thank you Macmay! I did soooo many drawings for this one XD. I should pick something easier next year lol

Thank you! I’m super glad you enjoyed the final boss, the multi game effect took so much to get right.

Thank you Kabloop! Glad you enjoyed the minigames! We chose the papery aesthetic based on the old mario design docs, since it was simple enough to use for 60 games. Plus it really masked the 3D nature of the world.

Thank you!! It was ALOT of work but the opportunity was hard to pass up, with 60 skremplets and all. I even took time off work to get them all done

Thanks for all the kind words AFB! We had more post game dialogue planned but it was unfortunately cut for time 😅.

Thank you Balbot! The shader was so fun to work on and I’m glad it really sold the effect!

Thank you so much!

Love the quirky designs and vibe! Plus the animations and art are wonderful! The battle system is really interesting and fun and the story and writing is super charming. The voice acting is great and really added to my enjoyment of the story!

Super well done! I love everything about this game! Wonderful art as always and shout out to Lam for the awesome soundtrack! It’s insane how complete this game is, from the mechanics to the presentation, this game is the complete package!

I really like the music! It’s so nice! Always a pleasure to see a mysterious AFB game and I hope Kyle returns to see all the secrets.

I totally love the writing and the premise of your game! It was funny and very well realized. I love how poor Grymmt‘s just trying to get breakfast! The music was also really nice and perfectly set the tone every time!

I love the style! The art on the enemies and the world is amazing!

Really cool card game and I love how you included characters from all the jams! It’s oddly nostalgic.

I really like the ps1 style and assets! Your game is beautiful and I had a blast with the story!

Fun game! I like the combat and I would love to see where you could expand this with more skremplets and enemies.
Also, the lore with the broken sky is sooo cool!

Thanks! So happy the 3D shift worked out! I was inspired by one of last years jam's games and I've been super excited for this jam to try it out!

Really cool game! Also, the variety of art styles per dream is a great touch! You nailed the presentation!

XD No competing with that!

Really really great game! The writing was hilarious and the art is so charming! Also, your game feels really good to play!

Yup, she's won a bunch of awards too.

She's been begging me to make her a sock puppet game for years! Now I'm never gonna hear the end of it XD

Wonderful, the "after story" vibe is super refreshing. There's so much to love here! I love the fun dialogue and the cool battle system that was so well detailed. Excellent 3d models and superb character designs! The final boss design in particular is outstanding!

I really like the art style! I think the colours and designs are super cute!

Love the vibe of this game! I showed this to my friend who makes sock puppets for a living and she's in love with this! The designs were translated into sock form so well! Oh and the DSD dialogue is hilarious!

This was one of my favorites games of the jam! There’s so much polish and style here it’s incredible!!! All the art is beautiful and truly inspiring! It’s actually some of the best art I’ve ever seen!

Super well done!!!

I was super impressed by this game Jasher! I think it might be my favorite of the one’s you’ve made and one of my fav of the year! The art and polish of the levels is incredible! And the writing was hilarious!

Also, you have my personal favorite final boss too!

I can’t wait to see what you do next year!

This was one of my favorites of the jam! I think the documentary presentation was really unique and really made this game memorable! I still think about it all these days later. I can’t wait to see what you make next year!

I look forward to your games every year and this year did not disappoint! I’m so glad you were still able to submit and I look forward to when the downloadable version is out. Also, it’s super cool that I could play with friends online! I’ll have to try that over the weekend!

This is so cute and charming! You totally nailed it! This is the ultimate Skremplet revival to me

Wow! This really feels like a tightly packed little jrpg. I think you nailed it! The retro aesthetic is super nice and I’m really impressed with how much you packed in here!

This was one of my favorite games of the jam! I especially love the art! Also, loved shifting perspectives like that! It’s a really cool mechanic and reminds me of the puzzle games I used to play as a kid!

Stellar atmosphere and environments! It's really really impressive how well you brought this world to life!

I never really considered text based adventures my thing, but I was thoroughly hooked from beginning to end! Your writing is sooo good and charming! Also, turn based battles makes so much sense in a text based game and really changed my perspective on what a text based game could be.

Amazing design. I love how fast the game reloads, it really encourages the salty runbacks lol

This was astonishing! And hilarious! (Your jam entry last year was one of the funniest too). I love your style and energy, it made for such a perfectly crafted experience.

I really, really like the controls on this!! When I read the tutorial, I immediately felt “ooo, this is how it should be” though it did take a while to get accustomed to it. I kinda wanna try Cyber Sled now XD!

Wow this is a really cool idea for a game! Seriously, a really cool idea! I’m a huge fan of tactics game so I was really happy seeing this. If you were to make this into a full game, I’d be there day one!!!
