How does the game fit the theme?
The purpose is to play a given melody by platforming, without a single wrong note (nothing can go wrong)

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Some backgrounds are free wallpapers that I didn't draw myself and I used a triangulator script that I made for another project

Thank you for playing !

I love the concept, visuals and audio! The platforming controls were a bit difficult to manage, and controls felt a bit floaty.

Great job overall!

This is a really cool idea! Took me a while to work out how to play but once I understood it I was able to complete level one with no issues. I don't think I have a good enough memory to complete the second level any time soon, but I really like the music theme you went with. Great work!

It was hard to control at first, but I'm experienced now. It's too hard for me, you should have made a noob mode. But the visuals are incredible!

It's hard. I can't play platformers. But it's a good idea.

This is really cool concept! But it took me so much time to realise that i can also make a sound simply by moving and not only by jumping 😀

I really like this concept but the movement was tough. I struggled a lot with just getting past the first melody. I think if the movement is tightened up it will play better. Also controller support. It may just be me, but I suck using keyboard with platformer style games. I love the concept and want to play more, and I love that it is music based with a very charming art style. Just tighten up the movement and it will be on point.

Fun idea but too hard for me, might be useful to signal different notes on the bottom with different shape and color to help player remember them.

Thanks for playing and for this feedbak :)

The idea of the game is so cool and original, maybe it just lacks a tutorial to make the player understand that different movements on the platforms give different sounds, but other than that, it's really cool.

Good job!

Thank you for playing and for your feedback :)

The game indeed lack  a proper tutorial level to introduce the different moves and type sounds.

It’s a really challenging and innovative game idea! It was tough, but I managed to clear the first level. I really appreciate the sense of style in the character’s face and the visuals of the title.

Game is though, but idea is original and well executed. Music and play is very parallel things and ı am glad you mixed it very well. First levels could be a bit easier but anyway it works fine. Good job

The game is quite difficult! But the idea is cool. I don't really understand how to hit the side of the figure and not fall into the abyss!

Developer

Thank you for playing and for your feedback :)

There's a wall jump to do so,  but the game indeed lack  a proper tutorial level to introduce the different moves.

I really like the concept. I feel like a step-by-step tutorial would help with the early game control issues. There is a difficulty spike for level 2. With a bit of tweaking, this could become something great!

Unusual and hard. A bit of dead art, but thats not the problem. Loving it, thx for the game)

Very nice concept! Struggled to understand it at first, but got there in the end! Enjoyed my time with it!

I like the concept, a musical platformer, but the way notes activated was a little confusing, like the sliding notes. And  it was not clear your character had double jumps nor wall-jumps, other than finding it by trial/error. The jump from level 1 to 2 was too big also.

Still, I can see there's ground to make it both a fast-paced musical "meatboy" style game. Or a slower puzzle-focus game.

Developer

Thank you for playing and for this constructive feedback !

The difficulty curve and the triggering of different notes are indeed reoccuring issues I'll look into if I continue working on this project :)

Very good concept.

The only thing I would say is to improve with clarity. It wasn’t the easiest time trying to understand to play. Although, when I figured out how to play, I had a lot of fun!

I like the concept! It was difficult to know the order though!
